When I arrived home yesterday, this is what I had "growing" in my flower pot.
(The ears in the background belong to Sydney.) Jane is the plant.

Awww...Sid. These pots seem to be growing nice black kitties. Wonder if there are other varieties.

Those are very rare and beautiful plants!

We planted a Capsicum felineus (aka Pepper) a few years ago. :D

I like to grow the leafy variety of Tabby cats! They grow best in mexican clay pots I find. LOL :)
This is my girl Beanie. I had her for 4 years before I lost her. She LOVED plants!

I spotted a rare Ficus Felineus Churchicus one day. Usually considered to be "sucker branches" they like to grow close to the base of the plant and suck nutrients out of the soil, depleting the sources usually reserved for this common houseplant.

Yes! I grew a very successful one of these in a tub a few years back.

I have also had quite a bit of success with planting directly into the ground.

Yours is a very fine example.

Well I have never had one of these plants, and where can I get one!!
I have never seen them in my garden centre anywhere?!
They are the best plants by far I've ever seen, and I'm not a gardener at all

I have one also but, for some reason, I can't find it on my computer. I must say, though, these are some of the cutest pix I've ever seen! :)

It must be something with the soil in the pot. This is the same pot that the first post had growing the black kitty. Now look what it grew:

Marvelous! I enjoyed all the photos, such a great variety of plants everyone has.

Around here, any pots must be immediately dumped, the plant uprooted, and the dirt scattered all over the room and preferably the entire house.

I DONT NEED PLANTERS TO HAVE PLANT CATS HERE, THEY JUST SEEM TO GROW DIRECTLY FROM THE EARTH ITSELF. HERE ARE TWO EXCELLENT EXAMPLES!!
