The Bark Heard Around the World Event is a new puppy mill awareness day to be held on the Yates County Fairgrounds in Penn Yan, NY on Saturday, May 17th, 2008. There is a Friday night vigil.
That address is: Yates County Fairgrounds, Old Rte 14A, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
The fairgrounds are easily accessible from the western and eastern sections of NY using the NY thruway to Exit 42 – Geneva. From the south the thruway can be accessed on the Eastern side of Pennsylvania by Route 81N and on the Western side of PA from 79N.
This event is so timely for upstate NY, as one of the “kennels” in this area was just granted a permit to increase the size of his operation from 60 to 260 dogs.

Small Paws Rescue will have many people there; and the Executive Director will be leading a prayer for the Friday Night candlelight vigil.
