When this 1st one was born, I was hysterical. Look at the ears on this boy! The first thing I thought was "elf"! :D Hubby called him "batman" but I like something more "elfish"! Any suggestions?

Absolutely incredible pictures!! Thank you for sharing them.
How about the name 'HOBBIT' for the one with the pointy ears? LOL
They have ears like that! :)

Hobbit is a great name!

Thank you for sharing the photos. I am sure Rosie is going to be a good mama. Thank you for helping her!

ETA: I just read the update and saw Rosie had SIX!!!! She's too little! LOL

So glad she is being a good mommy...and thank God you are there for her and the other momcats and babies!

But this just shows - in NO time there are almost 20 kittens needing homes. Sometimes a smaller scale like this really drives home the issue of spaying and neutering adults. ;)

How about Gremlin for the bat boy? :D

And what stunning colours on those calico and white girls - at that age! I mean, brand new itty bitty kitties! :)

How sweet - and as soon as they are cleaned, they know JUST where to go! lol

I like Gremlin too. I'd end up calling him/her little Gremmies! lol

What about Legolas for the elf boy?

Those Are Such Truly Fantastic Photos And Really Show The Miracle Of Birth, And Where Our Furr Friends Came From. They Are So Tiny And Helpless But You Can See In Thier Faces The Loving Cats That They Will Become If Given The Chance.

They sure are adorable and I'm glad that Rosie didn't run into any problems.:) It seems like 6 kittens is the magic number for the mother cats that you're taking in this year.;)

Amazing photos, thank you, Kim! I can't believe she allowed you so close to her, you haven't been with her for long.

I've never had a mom who didn't allow me to help with delivery. They really bond with me during the process and seem to want me there to help! Most of them get nervous if I walk away for a bit. They usually start calling me when they are going into labors as well. I do lots of one on one communication with them and "cat whispering" from the first moment we meet. Don't know if you read the story of how Pattycake got her name but that is how we bonded from the start. We shared the mutual gratitude of her being safe now with her babies.

Hi Rosie! Concatulations on your beautiful new family! I'm sure you're going to be an excellent mommycat to your little babies.

Kim, the pictures are extraordinary. It's obvious that Rosie really trusts you to let you that close during the birth of her babies. Hope to see more pictures of this wonderful new family. I'm happy to know that mommycat and babies are doing well.

All those babies are beautiful!

My vote for the bat/elf ear baby is the name 'Griffin' (kind of has a LOTR feel to it but also incorporates Harry Potter too - Griffindor).

Lots of love and hugs to the newborns - congratulations and scritchies to mum when she is settled with the new tribe!

OMG those babies are sooo cute.

I am in love with the one kitten that is mostly white with a little bit of black on it's head or so I can see.

AWWW I'm in love.

Oh my, I can't believe those ears. Even Richard was laughing at those things. How cute!!!

Rosie looks so much like my little Moxie Moo. I couldn't imagine her having such a big litter (or any litter for that matter). I'm glad things went well for momma Rosie and the kits.

Thanks for sharing all the pics Kim.
