I thought I would place some of the names I have been thinking of for the new Siamese foster so you could let me know what you think.

Here he is.......

You may add suggestions too.

He is a beautiful cat and I think he deserves a fitting and elegant name. How about you add Emperor to the beginning of the name. Like Emperor Mew Chow...hehehehe not so good with the oriental names. But you get what I mean.

Well, Siamese wouldn't be Chinese, so Chow Mein really needs to be discarded, lol.

How about a name that is from Siam... remember The King and I... they were in Siam. Which is now Thailand.

Maybe the Wiki article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand) on Siam will give you some inspiration on old world royalty names.

Or....
You could also be corny and name him Siam I Am. :p ;) It was the lack of sleep that made me write that, I swear!!!

I like Tuvok; he looks inscrutable as a Vulcan. (I'm a big Trek fan; can you tell? :p )

Ummm - I think on the planet Vulcan, all male names begin with S - Spock, Saron (sp?),and the females with T. T'Pring, Spock's unworthy bride-to-be. (His mom was Amanda - a human.) But LATER in another series we had Lt Savik - female. What's with THAT?

Suvok?

I don't know about the letter thing with the Vulcans. Tuvok was a male Vulcan character on Star Trek Voyager. (By the way, another sci-fi fan vote for Tuvok here.)

He completely looks like a Tuvok to me!

I too am a HUGE Star Trek fan and was watching S.T. Voyager when I thought of Tuvok. Tuvok was a dark-skinned man (the cat is brown) and the Vulcan ears are pointed (the cat has those disticntively Oriental ears) ;)

But you wouldn't believe all the other names running around my head.

HHHmmmm, maybe I'll set up another poll. :p

Oh yes, Kao K'o-Kung, Ko Ko for short!

Or Taksin, from the Wiki link provided by Jenn.

I like an old world, Siam / Emperor sort of name for a Siamese.

I Would Try Fancy Feast, And If That Fails A Good Quality Tuna Fish Or Salmon, Anything To Stimulate His Appetite.
If All Else Fails Deli Turkey I Have Found Never Fails To Promote An Appetite.
