What a great story about Noel; especially the engagement ring episode; how cute! I'm sure the three of you (and Noel's sisters) will have a great life together. Thank you for saving her from an abusive owner; it's time they were punished to a greater degree than the laws currently allow for hurting animals!

What a looker! Sweet eyes, beautiful face and I am sure Noel is as soft as a cloud!
I forwarded this story to my boyfriend (wink wink) for inspiration :-)

Happy COTD Noel! I sure wish Christmas (Noel in French) would come everyday

How could anyone abuse such a sweetie pie? All those who abuse and neglect animals will get theirs one day. In the meantime, thank you for saving this girl. Noel, enjoy your day as COTD. :)

Noel, you are a very special cat. That ring is simply gorgeous!!! What a better way to deliver it than via the furbaby you adore. Great picture! Congrats on the COTD!!

What a great story...you look so adorable (and tolerant) of that ring and bow around your neck! You look just like my Bean and he came with a bow around his neck too (no ring though...had to wait for that :) ). The squishie thing is adorable...I can picture it totally! I understand you completely...you want attention when you want it and you want to be the great little hunter that you are when you want to. Makes perfect sense to me :)

Have a great day and life and I'm so glad your mommy saved you from your previous owner; sometimes the most unlucky animals can become the luckiest animals and it sounds like that happened for you...YAY!

Noel you are indeed a beauty!!!

Not many kitties can boast of wearing a diamond ring, even if it was on a bow!!! ;) I'm so glad you have such wonderful humans to share your life with. You deserve nothing less!!! :)

Have a wonderfully fun day today.

Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Cat of the Day!!! :D

This is the first Noel cat that I have ever seen.

Touching story on all accounts, but there two aspects about it that cause me to worry a little bit. The first is the fact that Noel knows how to open drawers with her paws and the second is that she hates water and seeks to protect you from the shower.

It is only logical to assume that, one day soon, she will realize that she can use those same paws not only to open drawers but to turn whatever kind of knobs or dials you have to control your shower water.

I fear that her comprehension might fall a little short on the "hot" and "cold" nature of the controls. Therefore, I worry that you will be happily and comfortably showering away when all of sudden you will be smacked by water that is either freezing cold, or dastardly hot, due to an error by Noel.

This will cause you to leap out of the shower in panic, and that is a sight that none of us ever want even to imagine! Oh! Dear me! I already have imagined it!

I apologize profusely, but it is all Noel's fault. Blame her, not me.

Hi Noel! *waving* You are a lovely lady with quite a purrsonality. I really enjoyed reading about you today. Well, I have some familiarity with kitties so I can understand and just picture everything you mom wrote about. Well, all except the ring delivery, that is just SO adorable. I am glad to see a photo of you from that day.

My Cuddles also has to walk about with a catnip mouse in her mouth and she chatters to it constantly, both when it is on the floor and when it is in her mouth. So cute! Cuddles comes from a similar background and her purrsonality is similar to yours as well; independent, only cuddly on HER terms, quick to hide if startled.

You have found a wonderful hoomom to love and care for you, what more could a darling ask for? I hope you will accept some chin rubs from me; and I am asking Mom to give you some treats to celebrate your special honor today, as Cat of the Day!
