We've had Maya for 3 1/2 years, and shes still a mystery to us. The pound said rotty/shepherd. She is about 50lbs. Likes to fetch, is extremely agile, and very loving.

What do you think?

Markings aside, she DEFINITELY looks like she has some Rottie in her if you look at her face. :)

Rottie X Golden Retriever perhaps, i am just wondering where the longer coat has come from. Lovely looking dog :D.

Aussie? The feathered ears leads me to believe it may be a Rottie/Aussie mix?

Rottie's can have long hair.

Maybe some Border Collie in there! Her face and muzzle doesn't look very Rottie to me - her markings could be Shepherd, or Tri-Border collie, though every always assumes Rottie or Doberman with black-and-tan, even though many dogs have that color pattern.

Very true, thats why I never try to base "breed" on coat color/pattern alone unless it's something common to very few, such as merling, etc.

IDK I kinda see some rottie in the face, however the body is too slender to have much rottie. Her face doesn't resemble neither an Aussie OR BCollie to me though, but it could also be the angle of the photo.

Do you have other pics?

She probably isn't a German Shepherd Rottweiler X if she is full grown and only weighs 50 pounds. It seems like a mixed breed dog of those two breeds would be fairly big, male or female. I have a German Shepherd Border Collie X, and you're dog resembles it a little bit, so maybe you're dog is a Rottweiler Border Collie X. Let me ask you this, does your dog ever tilt its head and stare at you like it's wondering what you are thinking (a common Border Collie trait...I think) or also, does it have hearding instincts such as running full speed at birds then going immediately going into the down position then start running full speed at other birds as if herding them. And if you're dog is fast, like extremely fast w/ incredible endurance, then it might have Border Collie in it. :)

She looks a lot like my Dusty except with a tail and he is a 55lb. full breed Australian Shepherd.

I would show you a picture but I'm a newbee and can't figure out how to add it... :/

Dusty is a cute Aussie.

I don't know for sure, but I think Aussie/Rottie too. I think the head's width gives the Rottie away. The fur around the ears and her muzzle make me think Aussie.
