View Full Version : My baby girl is 6 months old today

Oh my goodness I can't believe it. Hannah is 6 months old today.... HALF A YEAR OLD. How did that happen? she's not going to be my little baby for much longer.

Part of me doesn't want her to grow up... I always want her to be the age she is now BUT another part of me can't wait to watch her grow up and watch her experience new things.

This is just going by too fast.

Well, happy 6 months Hannah. Umm....mom, maybe some 6 month pictures, please? :) I know you just posted Easter pix, but I want more!! :p :D

Nope lol no idea yet. My MIL says she is planning a trip her for Hannahs first birthday lol so I better plan something :D

Right now her favourite things are Barney the dinosaur and the dogs lol

Oh that brings back memories my kids were obsessed with barney, they were even barney and baby bop one year for halloween. My husband and I walked around signing the I love you song.

OMGoodness, just look at how much she has grown and developed. :) I am so glad you posted those then and now pictures. And I must admit I, too, was very surprised when I saw this title, it really does seem like you just had her.

LOL I think my personal favourite is "Boom Boom Ain't it great to be crazy" lol lately I walk around singing the signing times songs. lol

I know. I just can't get over it. I don't notice the difference all the time because I am always with her but looking at those pictures really put it into perspective. Yikes lol

haha and remember when you had six months left of your pregnancy, or even six days? That was F.o.R.e.V.e.R!!!! And then after the baby comes, zoom the six months (or in Lydia's case 13 months) just fly so so fast. Its so bittersweet. :( :)

I couldn't believe how big Hannah is getting with the comparison pictures. It keeps getting better, and better and better! (well until one day she will decide to dump a completely folded bucket of laundry upside down) ;)

To quote Kenny Chesney's song: "Don't blink". Yesterday my son was 6 months old; today he's 40 years old. I don't know how it happened. ;)

Wow! I can hardly believe it. People always told me that kids grow up too fast, but it took having Nathan to see how fast they actually do grow. Watch out, the next 6 months will go by even faster as she becomes more and more mobile.

(Anna- I've been there with the laundry. :rolleyes: )
