Thought I'd share my latest creation with you, it's called

The Raven

http://www.catmom.de/pix/raven8b.jpg

I know it would look better if you could see more details of the raven (I think actually, it was a crow), but I took the picture against the sun, so it's just plain black...

Hope it's not too eerie!

Kirsten, that photo is fantastic. And I think the raven/crow in silhouette is just fine.. it makes the picture even creepier.

 That is AWESOME!! That is right up there with the slaughter house one that is my all time favorite that you have done. It is not really errie to me but sad or some other word that I just haven't thought of...

I was about to ask if I could use it as my desktop too lol. What an awesome picture!

I don't think ravens or crows are scary, in fact I rather like having them around ;)

Thank you everyone! I wasn't even sure if it was okay to post it as it's looking so depressive, so I'm glad you like it... :)

Do you mind if I use it as my desktop?

I was about to ask if I could use it as my desktop too lol.

Sure you can! I'd feel honoured if you do. :)

lizbud, thanks for the link! I remember that poem well!

Don't touch it.

Here's a thought about art/photos/ceramics etc. Good artists are never satisfied. :D

Thank you! :)

Well, I still would like it better if the crow would show more details. LOL Maybe I'm lucky one day and get a better photo of one, and then I'll try it again. :)

There's a crow here in town at the Raptor Center that you can go visit. He was found as a baby and raised with children. He will say hello and laugh...laugh very hard and for a long time. It was the coolest/weirdest thing lol.

He really threw me off when I was near his cage. I kept hearing laughing and then realized it was coming from him. I always knew ravens and crows could minic really well, but I thought you had to slit their tongue for that. Apparently not! This little guy is awesome. I want to start volunteering so I can work with him.

I had several rescue crows when I was a little girl and have always been fascinated with them.

Here's her page. :)

And in case you want to know the difference between a crow and raven, here is the ravens page. :)

I really should post some of my photos from there.

Thanks for letting me use the desktop! :D

Thanks for the links, that was very interesting info. I like crows and ravens anyway, and they seem to be amazing and intelligent creatures.

You're lucky that you were able to meet the crow in that Center! :)
