That's absolutely appalling.

What country is this in? Surely it can't be in any CIVILIZED country...

EDIT: If you follow the link in the article you linked, it leads you to another site with more links to protests to ban him from the exhibition, etc

I was reading through the comments and someone said Honduras, wherever that is. Some people commented and actually agreed this was art and ok?! Wtf is wrong with people..

Someone said this

i was reading someone's comment about Honduras view on dogs ..and your right pretty much dogs roam the country and are viewed as pests and most people dont have dogs as pets like here in the u.s ..Its like this in latin america..You would never see a person walking their dog((only if their upper class))..BUT this does not give the right to no one in the world to let a innocent dog suffer his final days without being fed

Sickening. But this quote rings quite true:

Yeah, this is essentially Stanley Milgram's obedience experiment for the 21's century. The explicit intent of the art piece isn't to starve the dog to death, but to expose the blindly obedient nature of the gallery goers. That doesn't excuse it, as this experiment was already done...by Stanley Milgram. As I recall, a life was lost during that experiment, only it was a human who committed suicide, having been so horrified that he / she could be led to do something like that.

Still sick, and shame on the art gallery visitors.

I was thinking something along the same lines (obedience to authority and "pack mentality").

If I ever saw "art" like this I'd take the dog through whatever force necessary.

I was going to post this a while ago but I didnt want to cause upset when nothing can be done.

Just to let you know, a petition wont do any good, the artist like the fact thats its causing such a stir with people. I've looked into this already on another forum.

Unfortunatly the disgusting idiot who calls himself an artist refuses to listen to anyone else and will continue with his murder no matter what.

Why on earth are people actually legally allowed to do this? Makes me sick to think of people actually wanting to view it.

At the end of the day its a animal being starved, Do we really need to be shown whats happening all around the world anyway?

If he was any man himself he would use himself as his art subject that way the only animal suffering would be the pig of a man he is.

I don't see where that is anything near being "art"! It is inhumane and cruel!
