Girls Night Out...by Tehya

WOOOOOOO PT

Last night my Mom came home and fed me my dinner, cuz well, she has to do that every night. After we all ate our moose meat, Mom came to my pen and said "Foofanella, wanna come with me?" She calls me some dumb names!

I'm always up for a truck ride so I jumped right in! We drove out to Ms. Michelle's cabin. She was having a girls only night...well human girls. There were a couple of boy doggers there!

Like my very good friend, Popeye. I haven't got to play with him in ages!

We have lots of fun together and we always remember each other, even when we ain't played together for a long time!

There were a couple dogs I never met before too. That black dog is called Kelly. She is nice. She told me off a few times, but Mom says I need that occasionally!

Kelly did not like it when I stole her stick. She doesn't share her sticks very nicely!

There was also this dog, Biscuit, at the cabin. He did not play with us cuz he is 14 years old and he don't play anymore. He snuggled with my Mom for awhile and I shared my treats with him. Mom brought a bag of Beggin' Strips for me to share with my friends. She took some treats for her humans friends too, but us doggers didn't get any of those!

This is Lucky. He used to be really shy and he wouldn't let people pet him, but last night he decided that he likes my Mom. He was pawing at her to get ear rubs! Maybe he could tell she is nice to doggers!

I was busy chewing on my friend, so I didn't mind that those other dogs were getting lovin' from MY Mom!

This my Mom's friend, Ms. Joanne. She says she's not a dog person, but I think I'm winning her over! I like to snuggle with her!

We stayed at the cabin til midnight and then we came home. Some of those ladies had a sleepover, but we couldn't cuz of all the other doggers at home alone! I was very tired! I didn't ask to get out of my crate til almost 9 this morning. Mom says that me and Popeye and Lucky are gonna have another play date very soon. That cabin place is beside a huge lake and we are gonna go run around on the ice! I can hardly wait!

Now Popeye, I seem to remember you showing us and telling us about him. It is so nice to have friends with the same interests as you have: PLAY TIME! :D
I'm pleased that Lucky got to meet your momma, Tehya. A shy dog can always tell someone who is dog friendly, and that helps them come out a bit.

What a terrific time you had at mom's girls night out! I hope mom had time to enjoy HER friends, as well as their dogs!

Tamara, is Popeye a White Shepherd? He's gorgeous!

He's a husky mix. I strongly suspect he is Pacer's half brother. Michelle rescued Popeye, two of his siblings and his mother, Slim, from the same area Pacer was found. We've taken Popeye and Pacer out together. They are both solid white, a bit shy and they are mirror images when they run. Their gaits are identical.
