We recently got memberships to 2 dog parks...1 about 1/2 hour away in Bowling Green, Ohio and one about an hour away in Findlay, Ohio. Findlay is bigger, but BG has agility equipment...now, for some pictures!

This A-frame to to hide under...right?

Great pics Amy! I love the one with (is it Sadie or Cincy?) in the tunnel! Did they like the agaility equipment, or was it they liked the shade more?!!
I sure wish we had a dog park in our area, Roxey would really love it!

Great Pics!!!
If you don't mind me asking how much is the one in Findlay? Is it the one back by the industrial park? We should make a date sometime this fall!!!
Is it open year round or just spring/summer/fall?
I can't believe how big Taggert has gotten!!HOLY COW!!
Keegan would have a ball with all those doggies tho I don't know if she would come back to me so she wouldn't be able to run free with all those doggies around!!!

Stacy-Findlay's park is only $10, open year round and the membership runs Dec-Dec. It is at Riverbend park, which is by the resevoir. I really like it there...a lot of the same dogs are there often and the people really watch out for each other's dogs. occasionally there are a few that get aggressive, but even then the owners are pretty good at keeping them on leash and out of the other dog's fun. We definatley should meet up there! Taggert has gotten big, but not as big as I thought he would (course we know think he was 2 mos. older when then got him then they orignally thought) He is about 35-40 lbs now. I thought he would get closer to 60.

And Anna...you could come too! Findlay is only a little over an hour (at lesat the way I drive)from Piqua. There are at least two other husky's that frequent the park, and Sadie loves to run with them. I bet her and Roxey would get along great too. The pics inteh tunnel are Cincy, and although they love running through them, they were using them for shade alot too. BG's park doesn't have any trees so there is no shade and it was hot when we took them. Findlay is a little nicer cause it does have trees and some weeds they can hide in.

Kim, I wish I had gotten a better picture of Yukon, the brown dog. It is a husky, but does look a lot like Kia and from the front reminds me of Nebo, Wolf Q's new pup. Sadie really loved running with Yukon (or actually any dog that would run with her!)

cool if only we had parks like that here...we do have off leash areas but they're usually attached to bigger parks or something like that, and the dogs look like their having so much fun to.

That would be awesome!!! We could plan some Sat in OCT or NOV! And for $10 a year I can join also!!! sweet!!!
Riverbend isn't that out in the country? Off of 568? A lady I used to work with at Sears lives out there. Right across from the Resevoir.
We will have to get bizzy and figger something out!!!

Yukon sounds like a beauty!! :D

And do I sense another pet talk meeting per say? :D

Andy lives only 1 hour and 43 minutes from Toledo..... could meet up and go to either Bowling Green or Findlay some time..... ;) :D

Sounds good to me! Saturday's aren't always great for us becuase we have dance rehersal, but I am willing to miss one week... Oct. would be most difficult cause of the haunted house, and Nov 2 is out becuase of a wedding I am in. Want to shoot for sometime in Sept. or mid-Nov.? I can pick up registrations for the dog park and mail them to whoever is intersted. Findlay is a little cheaper, I think nicer and unlike BG they do not require a neg. fecal exam with the last 90 days (just proof of rabies and distemper vaccinations) Let me know...even if we can't all do it at the same time, I'm sure the girls would love to make lots of trips to the dog park!

This would be great. Let's just not make it when It's freezing outside! I usually work every Saturday night, so I would need to know at least couple of weeks in advance. Just let me know what's good for you all!

Oh my gosh! I miss the girls and Taggart soooooo much. They all look great and like they really enjoy those parks. I just wish I could bring Dakota to meet them and play with them all every now and then. That's definately the probably of living so far away. But I'm really glad that all my dogs in Ohio are having so much fun and I can see it in pic's, etc.

Sounds good!! I am flexible, if Sunday afternoon would work out better for you than by all means lets do it that way. Amy, let me know when you go back down there I will send you my address for the application.

Stacy-if you (or anybody else) want to PM or email me your address, I will ask my mom to pick up the applications and get them mailed out. I'm sure I can get them within the next week. That way it is taken care of and we figure out a date it is all ready to go. I was sorta thinking one fo the last two weekends of Sept., but my best friend called yesterday and wants to have her briadal shower one of those weekends, so I need to find out which. If those don't work maybe the 1st of October, before the Haunted House opens.
