Rocky back from the vets

Poor Rocky had to have another nail surgery.
Not sure how he did it, but he split his back toe nail all the way down.
Last time he had this simple surgery it took him 3 months to heal instead
of the 10 days.
Well I learned from the last time, and he will wear a boot outside and he is
under house arrest for 10 days.
He was a good boy and I stayed with him till after they gave him his 1st shot.
Than I put him in his holding cage and he cried as I left him.
He was pretty wobbly and sleeping when I picked him up. Once he got home he has been sleeping ever since. See my baby snoozing.

Ohh, poor Rocky. I hope he heals up very fast this time. I wish I could crawl down there on the floor with him and give him a great big kiss. I just love that boy!!!!

Pssst...Katie wanted to let Rocky know that she has been under house arrest today because she has been limping on her bad leg just a little bit. When that happens I have to make her take a break from the other two furkids.

Thank you everyone,

I did not sleep very good, Rocky got his bandage and sock off.
I tried to sleep with one eye and ear open to make sure he wasn't licking
his paw. Between mine and his aches and pains we make a great pair.lol
He is still a bit sleepy but he is perking up.
He ate a light breakfast and right now he is chewing on his bone.
Tomorrow will be interesting because I have to go to work and will not
be able to keep an eye on him.
(I hope I can tape up his paw better so it does not come off with his licking.)

Robin I hope Katie is feeling better soon. Boy! do dogs love to play hard. :)

Rocky, you be a good pupper and let everything heal up quickly! If you keep poking at it, it will just prolong (mom's) agony.

When Sugar had an ouchie in a rear spot, I ended up putting the tape up and over her back and down the other side, to hold the darn sock up! That lasted SLIGHTLY longer than the other way. :rolleyes:
