One of the kittens has found a new home. My niece and her family were here this weekend and they took one of the calicos home. I talked to my niece last nite and she said the kitten is doing fine and has about 18 name changes since they have been home. Her little girl keeps changing the name. The kitten is not very friendly, so I was surprised when she let my little great niece actually pick her and hold her the other day.

Cats are funny. One of my kitties, Aroara, is such a stinker. She squawks at you if you try to hold her. Sometimes if she's really in a foul mood, she'll hiss. Yet my nephew just loves her. She's never done one nasty thing to him. She even lets him carry her around like this:

I hope that your great niece and the kitty continue to get along well for years!

Calicos are known for their, um, shall we say, personality quirks. ;) My Puddy is a prime example. She'll lick your hand and you think "Aw, isn't that cute!" but she's really tenderizing you cuz in the next instant she'll chomp down on your hand. I just ADORE calicos! Good luck w/placing the rest. :)
