Not the greatest pics but I've been trying for days since our snowstorms to get a few decent pics. The first two are from a couple days ago and the rest from today.
Hey, were'd the puppy go?

Those are so cute!! Jake is going to be the coolest looking dog, he is officially one of my favorite PT doggies as of now. Lacey and Layla look like such good and fun sisters! Teaching Jake how to bark at the neighbors, priceless.

Great to see your three again! I love Jake's colouring - my favourite coat pattern/colour on a dog. I can hardly wait to see what he's going to look like once he's a little older. :)

Oh, I love to see pictures of dogs in the snow. They look like they are really enjoying it. Wow, Jake is changing as he grows. It will be interesting to see how it turns out as he grows. By the way, do we know what Jake's parentage is?

I love that Lacey girl, she is such a good girl. And Layla has grown into such a pretty girl. But I have to say that last picture of Jake actually made me catch my breath. He is just gorgeous! Look at those white toes. :) Question for you, did you say you didn't expect him to get very big? How old is he now? Can I have him? Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to ask that last one out loud. :D

ETA: Actually I really like the picture of all three of them playing together. Guaranteed to make you smile.

Alyssa - thanks for the nice comment on Jake. :o
Krista - Lacey says thanks to her hunk of hound. ;)
Devan - thanks, tan with a black muzzle will be fine with me. :D
Diana - the shelter listed Jake as Shepherd/Collie. While I can see both in him, his size doesn't cut it. ;)
Ginger's mom - Jake is 4 1/2 months, we don't expect him to get very big, he's just over 15 lbs now. NO you can't have him. :p

Ohh Annette thanks so much for sharing new pics of the 'kids' :D. Everyone is looking great, and that little Jake is sure growing into a handsome young man. It is good to see everyone getting along well, and great to see photos of the 'white stuff' ;).

Lovely pictures http://www.petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/smile.gif
I envy you, we don't get too see snow at all this winter and spring is coming already.
Not that I don't love spring http://www.petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

It's funny how the colour of a puppy can change, isn't it? I once had a black puppy and by the time he reached adulthood he had more brown than black in his body.

Now here's a pup so secure that he will win that tug, he doesn't even bother to get up. ;) :D

Oh I love dogs in snow. We have hardly had any this year so I have to come to PT to get my fill. :) Your three look like they are having a ball. I love the captions too! :) Jake's coloring has changed, hasn't it. I originally thought he had some keeshund in him but I don't see it so much any more. Whatever he is, he is sure a cutie patootie. I love the little white pawsies!

Staci - I think, regardless of coloring, I will keep him! :D
Rhi - Yep, snow is fun. It's all mushed down by the time I got pics. We have at least 6-7".
William - Yes, it's very interesting to see how these 'mutts' turn out, lots of surprises! :)
Pam - Yep, little Jake is full of self confidence and he already knows just how to fire the girls up. :D

Annette, You've GOT to be kidding me!
Are you Sure that's the same puppy?? :p
Oh he's too TOO CUTE!!!!

I've heard from a vet tech that if you take a puppies weight at 3 months old and triple it, that's aprox. what it will weight when full grow.
I've never had a dog when it was 3 months old so I've never been able to test it. So I guess we can see how accurate that is with Jake!!

The girls look like they enjoy their little brother!
Oh how nice of Layla to teach him how to bark at the neighbor's dog!
Lacey is as beautiful as ever and enjoying the white stuff too I see!

Oh no, someone switched puppies on me! Ha, no way, I know his personality all too well. ;)
Angie, let's see, I looked up my vet records (yes I still have them all :o )
Lacey at 3 mo. was 12 lbs. That means she would be around 36 full grown. Nope, she's around 80. Ok she's heavy, should weigh 70.
Layla at 3 mo. was 20 lbs. That means she would be around 60 full grown. Nope, she's at least 70, maybe a bit more, need to get her weighed, it's been a while.
Jake at 3 mo. was 9 lbs, he should be 27 full grown, time will tell with him. ;)

Hehehe, lol at the fact that he knows how to get the girls going. That's my boy. ;) :D It's funny I hadn't heard that equation before, but when you said he is 15 pounds I immediately tried to remember what Ginger was a 4 months, she was about 11 pounds, and yes she is about three times that (well, actually she is five pounds more than that but that is because she is overweight). So I would guess that Jake will be a good medium-sized dog of somewhere around 40-50 pounds.

The shelter guessed he would be 50 lbs. My vet guessed 20- 25. It will be interesting to see how big he gets. :D

thanks Danegirl :)

Oh my goodness! Jakers has changed SO much! He's still a little furball but seriously... where did all of the dark fur go? It will be SO interesting to see how he looks full grown. Too cute.

Your girls are as pretty as ever. Give Lacey a hug from me even if she doesn't like it. :p

Stupid Ohio... look at all that snow it gives you now that I'm gone!

I was wondering what Jake looks like now.
He's totally different! It looks like you got a whole new dog.
He sure is cute though.
What good girls for putting up with him.
The girls are both looking great too.

Thanks Amy, Kay and Buttercup (sorry, I know your name, don't know how to spell it. :o )
It's amazing, the change in Jake. Just since those pics, I swear he's getting even lighter in color! He may end up being a white dog with a black muzzle! I hope his muzzle stays black. ;)
I remember when Layla was a puppy she had a white blaze on her forehead. I really didn't like it much. Then it disappeared and I missed it. Here's a pic of her with it...

Look at all that snow  . It looks like enjoy playing in it! Great picture of Layla and Jake with the stick :) . The picture of them all playing is cool too; does Layla's collar say anything in specific? I can see markings around it but can't tell if it's writing or images :o .

Thanks Craig. That must be Lacey you mean. Her collar says 'Princess' on it and has crowns in between the words. She truly is a princess. ;)
