I have always used webcam to chat with friends on msn, but lately about 10-20 minutes into the chat, my computer freezes and I have to reboot the whole system. I can't figure out what is going wrong! I reinstalled msn messenger in case it was corrupted, but still nothing.

It is driving me insane, any ideas please?

Only things I can think of are:

MSN has a glitch they need to work out

Your webcam software needs some kinda update

Your internet has a hiccup (in which case don't try using honey lemon tea with it, the circuits don't like that). lol

Only other thing I can think of is possibly a virus or spyware causing a problem, in which case, make sure your antivirus and spybot software is up to date and run scans.

Otherwise I'm as baffled as you are. Good luck getting through the problem.

My only suggestions are to make sure all of your software AND drivers are all up-to-date. How old is your video card? Has your computer always frozen up or has it just started freezing recently?

My thought (and this is just a thought) is maybe your video card or computer/inet can't handle the streaming video?

A video card is what you hook your monitor into and what makes things appear on the screen :)
