Thanks I will definatly need the help. When my three were sent to me they were shipped in a box insulated on all sides with styrofoam then there was a heatpack taped to the top wrapped in newspaper. The fish were each double bagged in small bags with just enough water but mostly air. Here is the method she uses in a post on another forum.

The parents are just adorable. I love their coloring, and I love their body types. I like my Plakats stout! hehe.

Well not much luck with my first ever spawn. There are about 5-7 left not sure some might be hiding. They are 2 1/2 weeks old. Hopefully they will all survive.

I'm sorry to hear that... but, yanno, maybe you ARE lucky. At least you don't have 500. : ) It will certaintly be a good learning experience, just work on keeping those survivors healthy.

What are you/have you been feeding them? BBS are great for their age.

You definitely should send pictures now of the babies since they have hatched. I'd love to see what a baby betta looks like.
