It's obvious to me that those kids are on guard duty. They remain at their posts, making sure no one messes with the pantry items! You're lucky to have such dedicated guardians.

LOL! I can just imagine the state of my cupboards if I had the open concept like you! I'd have Zachariah nosing in everything, and Boris sleeping on all the plates, lol. She opens the cupboards upstairs and sleeps in them, but I don't mind if she's in with the towels and sheets.
