Starting in Feb. of next year, all analog broadcasting will end. Only
digital TVs will work. They will sell converter boxes to accomodate the
older (analog) models.

If you now have a cable connection, it won't be a problem, but not
everyone has cable hookups on all the Tvs in the house.

There are coupons available to help with the cost of the converter box.

Last November I used my Homeowner's rebate to purchase a 27" TV with a built in HD tuner, so the main television will work. I will probably buy a converter for the TV in the dining room (although I very rarely use that TV any more). I am not real worried about it. I hope I don't regret my nonchalance next February.

I think they will have enough converter boxes around for people who
decide later they want one.
