DOG TRAINER! :D

I've been teaching clients private in-home sessions for the past year and a bit but I've only had one group class because Vancouver weather is unpredictable. Finding a place to rent once a week for up to 10 dogs is really tough! Anyways, after much searching, I found out that the local dog daycare/agility training facility is expanding and is looking for an obedience trainer! WOOHOO! Long story short, I got it. :D I still have to work my day job and do the M-F grind, but at least I can finally get more experience as a trainer (and get paid for it too!) and get just that little bit closer towards my dream of owning my own daycare/training facility!

I'm so happy for you! You're so lucky to be following your dream and achieving pieces of it. Don't ever lose site of your goals. I'm sure you'll go far.

Hey, and in the future, if you're looking for a good, big empty space to rent for a few hours a week, check local churches! Big gathering halls are often unused during the week, and most churches could use the income!

Hehe I plan to! I've already planned out rubber interlocking flooring, a full grooming centre, and a webcam for clients to see their dogs through out the day. One day.. :p
