http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench5.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench6.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/trench7.JPG Here are pictures of the trench I dug along the north fence from the compost heap to the drain in between us and our neighbors.Supposed to mild tomorrow in the 40's with rain so the melting snow and rain have a place to go .This is what dad had me do when it got mild and had to do this.I am sure he is watching down and approving of the job I did .As you can tell in one picture,snow had to be taken off the roof,there is at 9 inches up there,larry took it off,it meant climbing a ladder and I am afraid of heights .My Uncle had been out a this and the neighbor next to him did the sam.There have roofing people around,so likely other people around have hd the same problem.i had to shovel some of the snow after i got back,it was heavy after being on the roof.Finished that today,as i was chopping it up with the scraper from the shovel, it broke so had to use another ice chopper,Mom had to go and get a new shovel, it had a 4 year warranty and only last since late November,early December.Will probably invest in a snow rake now if the snow gets bad on the roof again.

I can't believe how much snow you've got, Barry. That's alot of work. Take it easy so you don't hurt your back. You did a really good job. I know your Dad is so proud of you.
