my parents & my brother are moving in to live with us in two days! lol.

Well, right now they live in a two-bedroom apartment. Ever since we bought our home, we were thinking about asking them to come live with us, but they're bounded by the lease contract and can't move out until now. I guess it works out perfectly that we had 8 months to enjoy our new house by ourselves :) While we're fully aware that things will change from now on, we hope that the pros will outweight the cons. With my parents moving in with us, we can both save on costs, and hopefully we can provide my parents with a more pleasant living environment.. oh, and hubby doesn't have to cook anymore as my mom will do it :). We figure we're not at home for a good part of the day & the weekends (hubby & I have a little side job on the weekend) - the house is left empty while my parents doesn't have the luxury of the backyard to relax :), which now they do.

Another plus is the 3Ms will now have someone to play with all the times. I'm sure they'll appreciate it!

Well, even though this is a well thought-out decision with the agreement of all parties involved. I realize everyone will have to make lots of sacrifices & adjustment in the beginning to create a happy household..

So, please send some good-luck wishes our way, will ya?

Theresa

I think it's very nice of you to offer a home for your family! I wish you alot of luck.

By the way, is there any updates on your Biopsy for the lump on your breast? I've been wondering lately because I keep seeing you thread on it.

Thanks for asking. I was being referred to an outpatient clinic to do the biopsy, but the doctors there thought it would be better if it's performed under ultra-sound guidance (which they can't do - so I have to go to the hospital). Since I have HMO insurance, they have to request authorization for me to go to the hospital. I'm waiting for this piece of paper right now.

But, I did go to a specialist & after examing the lump, he told me that he's almost certain it's benign. That gives me some peace of mind.

My sister and her husband moved across country a year ago (next month) to live with her daughter and grandson and that has helped them BOTH out financially, emotionally and other ways. Imagine coming home after a hard day at work to smell supper cooking and finding the house clean.
