Roxie went to her new home

Roxie went to her new home today. The couple was very nice and I liked them a lot. They even know/are friends with the woman that adopted Alex from us last year. They don't have any kids or pets, so Roxie is going to be the spoiled princess she's always wanted to be. Wish her luck in her new home with her new parents. They did tell me that I could come visit whenever and I let them know I will definitely do that in a couple of weeks to see how things are. I also assured them she is more than welcome back if anything goes wrong.

As sad as I am about this whole thing and as much as I'm going to miss her. I'm glad she's in a new home. They can definitely do better for her than we could, especially since we still have many problems going on with our lives. I just want her to be happy and have her forever home now.

Goodbye Roxie, I'm missing you like crazy. :(
