Hi Fritz, popping in to say HI! I don't always post but I do try to keep up with all your photos. This one caught my attention. You look a bit bored? Need Mom to get you a toy and play with ya? Or Barry to take you for a walk or trip outside? We are going to do our walks today for sure because there is some cold weather coming and we will all want to stay in the next couple of days. When my Lacey gets that look, I know it is time to pick up her ball and head to the back yard lol. She LOVES chasing the ball. None of my other dogs play with toys. I hope you are finding ways to keep warm! Love ya, Fritz!

Fritz, you are a lot like my Hannah. She too knows the most comfy spots in the house. I even have to fight her for my computer chair on occasion. I dare not let her see this post however, as she would forever be after me for some of that chicken that you get. You are one lucky dog.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sundoggy1.JPG Fritz this afternoon covered by his pawprint blanket in the chair soakiong up the sunshine.Fritz had his head tucked into the curtains when we went out for supper.first Mom had to get a Poinsettia arrangement and then I had to go to future Shop to get ink for the printer.We had a Chicken dinner with Fries,shared a Ceasar Salad.Dessert was Apple pie for me and a Butterscotch Sundae for Mom.Mom brought Chicken home and put it in with his supper and he ate it up.Fritz was in the window laying down when we came home and was at the door to greet us when we got in.Fritz started scratching near 7,stayed there,eventually came out,he had a drink,,had his head out the ciuch.Got in my chair,then under the big couch,kept whining,wanted upstairs so let him,but all he did was bark.I had to get a piece of sliced ham to get him down.Now on the coffee table.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddledog5.JPG Fritz covered up in Mom's chair this morning.he stayed curled up with me on the bed all night.Had his breakfast from both of us,cuddled with Mom first with the blanket then me,he has been out twice,the second time,I was out cleaning off a bit of snow,he likes to run around the patio in it.I should have left the snow where it was, it started up again as i was just starting to shovel.Supposed to be about an inch,somewhat milder today 29 degrees.Mom heard on the radio,Oshawa,10 miles west of here is to get 4 inches so who knows.Fritz now in the blue chair cuddled in his blankey.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlytime.JPG Frit with his head on my leg ,covered with his blanket this morning in the chair.He got off the bed at 25 after 4 this morning and brought up fluid in 3 places under the dining room table.He then went outside,then to the blue chair where I picked him up and took him back to bed and he slept fine after that.Fritz came out to me this morning in the chair and i coverd him up.I wnet and got breakfast and I sat on the couch and had ,let him have the chair.He eventually came over and had toast and cereal,then Mom's.He has been cuddled up with Mom in the chair,now by himself.

We did have some colder temps here, Barry. It was really nice. I'm still dealing with this knee problem so I don't get outside much but I try to experience the fresh air every day. Stay warm you guys!! :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/drinkwait.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/taffynap1.JPG Fritz waitng in front of the fireplace last night for a fresh bowl of water and Taffy having a nap ,all fours in the air .She stayed here as Larry and Marlene went to his sisters to plan a 80th birthday party for his dad.Fritz followed Taffy around,trying to get her chase him, she didn't ,she is getting a little old.We had some fruitbread for a snack and Taffy was in the chair,Fritz saw what I had and jumped into the chair not knowing Taffy was there and she growled at him,he soon got off.he slept with me all night,pretty quiet,didn't get up at all..Had a cuddle with noth Mom and me this morning,had breakfast and has been out,has been under my bed,got out when he heard a noise and is now in Mom's chair.Fireplace wasn't on,so Fritz didn't get too warm.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlytime1.JPG Fritz cuddled in the chair this morning.Last night ,he spent a half hour or so under the blanket of the little couch, popped his head out the odd time.He finally came out and he needed a drink .We had some Christmas cake,he had some,had to go out.Spent time on Mom's lap,wanted out again or wanted up in the living room,told him no,ended up under the couch where he stayed until 9:30.To start,he was right next to me in bed,then moved to the ohter side for a brief time before getting up close again,was on his side this morning.When i got up ,he was getting ready to get off the bed and I leaned over he licked my ear.I sat in the chair and had breakfast,he stayed next to me while I ate.He had it eventually,has been out a couple of times,has been barking at kids outside,now just got out of the window,Mom may be back from being at the hairdressers.It wasn't mom at all,he just needed out.Has gone back to the window.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/perchdog.JPG Fritz on the back of the chair last night.He sat right up on his rear wanting to go out or upstairs,also sat for the longest time on the cushion begging,gave him some Iams biscuits.I told him when he was on the back of the chair ,no more treats,he tilts his head to one side,did it 2 or three times,has to laugh about it.I think maybe he wanted to go to bed.He went to bed with me again,ended up right tight to me.This morning he moved to the corner of the bed before I got up and I was starting breakfast,he wants out and after coming in,begged for toast and had cereal,went out to the kitchen,layed down out there,wanted some water.He then got up beside me.I got up to come down here ,he took over the chair and I covered him with the blanket.Right now,he is with mom in one of the chairs.Bought some reading glasses,I have trouble reading fine print,it happens to people between 40 and 50.It is called presbyopia ,I also been nearsighted since I was 10,was wearing glasses,got off using them .I wear these glasses for reading and while I am on the computer and it really helps.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlytime2.JPG Fritz cuddling up to Mom this morning.Last night we went out to supper with larry and Marlene.I had Chicken Fettucine,Mom had a Pork Chop and Marlene and Larry had Beef Shishkabob.Mom had a Hot fudge Sundae for dessert,nobody else did,full i guess.Taffy was out in the truck waiting for supper.Mom didn't think to bring fritz home something,he always looks for something.Luckily Mom had Bolgonato give him,did not want iams biscuits i offered him.he slept with me again,got up a few minutes after me and had brekfast,went out and cuddle beside,there was snow out there,he likes it.He just lickedout a bowl of soup,been out again in the snow and now in the livingroom.I stayed home from church to do some snow,I have a little cold also,don't wnat anybody getting it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/flippypaws.JPG Fritz around 5 last night,paws flipped in the air.He had a big play in the afternoon with his Monkey,then went on a blitz around the livingroom,got tired and cuddled on my lap while I was sitting on the floor.Larry , Marlene and Taffy came,Mom wanted some pictures of her and Dad hung,got that done.Fritz tried getting Taffy to play,Fritz would do his big run,Taffy didn't go for it.We had Porkloin,Potatoes and Gravy and Turnip for supper,Fritz liked that and the Angel Food Cake with a topping of Whipped cream and Pineapples.I went to the hockey game.I phoned Mom for her to pick me up,Fritz started barking when she left and when we pulled in,he was waiting in the window and met us at the back door.Had Angel Food cake and brownies,Fritz got the cake.He took his time coming to bed,but in the end he did and slept near my feet all night.Fwas the last to get up,I was eating breakfast,he needed out,then after that he had his breakfast from us,had a drink,sat next to me then with Mom.Right now is in Mom's chair.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlytime3.JPG Fritz cuddled in Mom's chair this morning.We just got to bed last night when Fritz heard a noise and went off the bed and was barking.It turns out it was a alarm from a weather station I had bought and he heard it.He came back to bed on his own,he hogged the bed a usual.Didn't eat breakfast this morning,other cuddled with Mom or me,in the window also,now in the blue chair .He growled at a Whippet this morning while on my lap,other than that he is quiet.Last night,he sat on Mom's lap tilting his head and lifting a paw,probably wanted to go upstairs,was too early for that and he would just bark when he got up there.Didn't want to go out this morning,too wet for him,he did in the end and did it right outside the back door.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/doggysnack.JPGFritz sitting up in front of Mom begging for toast.Had a pretty wild night here,strong winds gusting 50-60 miles per hour dropped the temperature fromm44 degrees with rain last night and right now it is 29 degrees and to drop to 14 by noon hour.Had a flurry of snow also.Had someone's downspout in the middle of the roadt,picked that up,a box blew up the street on to our side walk,pieces of the roof on our old shed are bent and flapping in the breeze,no danger in coming off.Power was out from 4:42 to 6 this morning.I guess Fritz heard the roof pieces flapping,he growled,I got him closer to me and he was quiet.He peed next to a chair in the living room last night,didn't go out,this morning I stepped in it,got a wet sock. .He was out,though he was on a leash,he wouldn't go anywhere.We have new neighbors at teh corner who last week left their Shih Tzu out for 2 hours in the cold 3 of them went out and still left the dog out,finally someone let it in.Today , someone put it out,a man came out to move vehicles around and ignored the dog.I think htye wouldn't like if they were left out like that.Last week,Mom was ready to call someone about it before it was let in.Fritz now in Mom's chair,mom going soon to a church meeting.I just checked the temperature,now 26 degees a 18 degee drop since last night,12 degrees since around 6 this morning.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlytime4.JPG fritz cuddled in his blanket,staying warm.He waited on the back of the chair last night for me to come back from the hockey game.I phoned Mom with about 10 minutes left to pick me up when it was over,she said something about going to ger me,she thinks he knows everything we say.Fritz went to the wind ow and was there when we got back and was at teh door when we came in .We had a snack of Christmas cake,then it was around 10,he was sitting looking at me,he was past his bedtime.He was just hopping when Mom was going up,went straight to my bedroom and jumped on the bed and was curled up.He either cuddled to me or was on the other pillow.he heard the paper come close to 4 this morning,held him back.He stayed whe there when I got up at 6 and came out when Mom got up.Had my toast and cereal,went out,didn't sty long,cold,18 degrees.He was in the chair with the blanket,now in Mom's chair,mom gone grocery shopping.Major winter storm tomorrow,a Colorado low,getting up to 6-8 inches with freezing rain an ice pellets,hope it goes on another path and misses us,I could do without it,seen enough this year.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/blankienap.JPGFritz having a cozy nap in his blanket this morning.Last night,was under the big couch,once ther he starting whining,it is hard to get out of,I shooed him out and went under the little one.Also spent time on Mom's lap,went out once,had a drink.Later was begging to go upstairs,tought he wanted to go the livingrom,told him no.He ended up under the covers of the little couch.he heard Mom say we were going up and he was out like a shot.It turned out he was hungry and wanted his supper which he had before bed.At first got under the bed.After missing getting him from under there,I tried again and got him on the bed.He stayed cuddled tight to me the whole night.In the morning,he first wanted a drink,then he came nack the chair,i then got breakfast and covered him up.A few minutes after finishing,he came over and had it and then went out.Now in the chair again.A little dusting of snow today not bad .Marlene had a bit of stomach trouble ,bringing up and had was couldn't go to the washroom.She is feeling better this morning but will probably stay home and not go to church..After church today,I go to a Hockey game at 1:30,normally 6:30,The Super Bowl is on that is why it is earlier today.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/doggysnack2.JPG Fritz having his cereal this morning.Fritz was down her to start last night as Mom went to a church meeting,he then started sitting on the back of the chair with his paw up,so I let him up.He barked a few times,mainly at nothing,one time it was a Black Poodle being walked.We watched Deal or No Deal until 11 after Mom came back.Fritz went right to bed with me then the power flickered,off and on,the doorbells came on and the security light also,got Fritz down off the bed barking.I tracked him down and brought him to bed and he stayed there the rest of the night.We also had thunder,didn't bother Fritz,that same I was snoring according to Mom.Had fog this morning and it is to near 50 right now.Some of the snow melted not all, and now we are getting more snow early this morning into tomorrow,4-6 inches with freezing rain and rain.I cleaned up the snow piles in our patio this morning,a heavy and waterlogged.Fritz had some Bologna sandwich with me,after this went to the door,got the leash,he took of,then I sat down and back he went,so let him out and had he waited for me to let him in.Mom had to give him a treat as he grabbed her boot and under the table he went with it.Fritz now in his perch on the window ledge.

Reading that caption has given me the chills. It's really cold there. It's going to 85 degrees here today. It's so hard to imagine that it could be so cold anywhere :confused:

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddledog6.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/outdoorboy.JPG Fritz Tuesday afternoon snoozing on Mom's bed where he went when Mom went to work at the hospital gift shop and this morning waitng at the door to come inside from one of his many visits outside,loves to run around in the snow and bark.Had some Poppyseed muffins last night,very god,Fritz thought so too.He stayed quiet all night,got up a few minutes after i did which was 25 to 6.We are in a winter storm warning,had 3 inches already,getting another 4-6 tonight and stopping tomorrow morning.He had some cereal and toast,I then went out to do snow,heavy wet snow,hurt my back a bit.Had Cauliflower soup for lunch,Fritz had a little from both of us,had some cookies,he sjust swallows it but he brought it up on the quilt covering the couch and on Mom's pants,Mom not impressed by it.Now up with Mom,now barking again.Pancakes for supper, as we missed Shrove Tuesday yesterday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/doggysnack3.JPG Fritz having cereal this morning.Before bed last night,Fritz had some of his supper,then came to bed,actually Mom brought him and put him on my bed.At 20 after one this morning,Fritz gets down and goes and lays down looking at his water dish,he was thirsty from eating his supper before bed,so i got him that,I go and try to get him,he runs off so I go back to bed.He was coming down the hall,Mom tried to get him,he run off,so that was that for a few minutes.I then went and get him,he was in the window,no trouble and took him back to bed and was quiet the rest of the night.I went out to clean up snow on our patio and on the North side of the house and clean off the curbs along the driveway,took a couple of hours,tiring but it is done and now 2 inches tomorrow and maybe the same for Tuesday.Mom and Marlene went out to lunch,Mom's treat,it is Marlene's 56th birthday tomorrow.Mom had Quiche and soup,Lemon Pie.Mom brought back some Chocolates one filled with Orange and the other with Mint cream.I had a couple of Hot dogs for supper,Fritz got a bit and licked the plate and of my Chocolate pie,there were just crumbs left,nothing that could hurt him. Fritz will have Taffy a guest starting next Sunday the 17th to the 21st as Larry and Marlene our goinf on a four day holiday to Super Club Breezes in Nassau,Bahamas.Fritz now in the window being quiet.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlydog2.JPG Fritz this morning covered with his blanket.We had a good dinner.I had steak,with sweet potato fries,mom had salmon,Marlene had Fillet Mignon with Crab tail,Larry prime rib with Yorkshire pudding.Marlene had a piece of Butterscotch cake for dessert,we each had a taste,not bad.Brought Fritz home some steak,he was at the back door waiting for us,probably slept on Mom's bed.First went to the window before bed,went and picked him up and he slept fairly close to me all night.he got up a few minutea after i did while i was getting breakast.he had to go out then went back to the chair.After i was finished he came over and had toast and cereal.Had a brief power outage,it came back on,doorbell went and he was off and barking.colder tonight 9 degees,windchill just below 0 degrees.This winter we have had 51 inches of snow,morte than the last 2 years combined and getting 2 to 4 inches on Tuesday morning.Fritz just come back in from being out again,was barking,probably in the window now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlydog3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toastysit1.JPG Fritz cuddled in Mom's chair this morning and begging me for toast this morning.He was in the window when Mom took me to the hockey game last night and in the window when we got back,at the door to greet when we came in.I had a piece of Pizza heated up from supper,he is on the back of the chair whining,tail going for some,he got some,quiet after that.Had a drink,got with Mom then under the couch and came out when it was time for bed.He was hogging the bed ,almost pushing me out,carried him in from the chair in the livingroom and put him on the bed.He did move for me eventually,had a good sleep,mom heard me snoring again.he has had his breakfast from us and been out,covered in his blanket in the chair.Cold and blustery last night,10 degrees,feeling a lot colder with the wind, 8 degrees this morning,sun shining.A little more snow tomorrow, maybe 2 inches or 4 depending on who you listen to.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/blankeysit.JPG Fritz with his blanket on,wanting some of my Hot Dog at lunch.He had been sitting right up and the blanket was half over his head and looked really cute.For supper,we had Meatloaf,Potatoes and Peas,Fritz had a little of that and dessert was Rice Pudding,Fritz had the Rice part,no Raisins.Had a couple of plays with Monkey after supper.Fritz then layed on my lap and then went to the window.Downstairs,he was on Mom's lap.Mom had a Raisin Bun and after that he came over and was begging for some of my Fritos Barbecue corn chips and layed on my lap.Had drink of fresh water,then outside.He was barking out there so,got him a Iams dog biscuit to get him in.He layed on there back of my chair,now under the little couch.Earlier in the day,Marlene camr by and they went shopping at Wal Mart.While here,Fritz grabbed a boot of Marlene's and carried it proudly under the dining room table.Had to give him a piece of hot Dog to get it from him.More snow tromorrow,2-4 inches,not looking forward to it.

I was down getting my coat and as I was coming up the stairs,ther he is and he wants to go out,so he goes out.After I come in,he goes to the blue chair so I had to eat my breakfast on the couch.After a few minutes,he came over and had the toast and cereal them Mom's.I went out and did snow,had to coem in to warm with some coffee,out i went again.Had a Raisin bun for lunch Fritz had a little with no raisins.Went up to marlene's to clean off the deck and the basement steps to the drain.Had Kraft dinner and weiners for supper,Fritz had weiners and licked the plates.Had a Chocolate muffin for dessert,he didn't have it.He had raisin bun tonight with mom nad he then came to me and begged for Barbecue corn chips.Mom them daid to get some Iams biscuits.I told him three times did he want some and he tilts his head.I gave him that,he then went out and came in and had water and is now on Mom's lap.I saw that the Beagle won Westminster for the first time.I saw that the Bichon got third in the Non Sporting group.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlydog4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/ricekrispies.JPG Fritz this morning cuddled in Mom's chair and finished my bowl of Rice Krispies.Last night,Fritz was sitting in the doorway of the rec room wanting to go bed and when he got tired of waiting he layed down.Mom and Fritz went up first and I came up when the Leafs game was over.After the game was over,I came up and he was on the bed waiting for me,didn't crowd me out of bed this time.Had his usual breakfast,cuddle with Mom then me.We went today,i needed to get an updated version of Windows Live One Care.He was in the blue chair when we got back,turned to look at us when head resting on arm of the chair.Had a Salad for lunch,Fritz had a little.mom had a church meeting this afternoon so I had a Turkey TV dinner,Fritz had as little Turkey,also finished his own supper.Mom was talking to the Aunties tonight,he must have heard me say that Mom was to call them as he got out from under the couch and went over and sat on the coffee table.They are fine ,got a new car,a Saturn Astra,like it very much.We are having Cranbery loaf,Fritz is on Mom's lap looking for some and I will be next for him wanting a treat .Maybe getting a inch of snow overnight,just saw some blow by the streetlight.

That's the car I want next! I have an '02 SL1 now. My dad has an Ion. He went for oil change and found out about the Astra.

Awwwwwwww!!!! I just love that cute blanket Fritzie!! You seem to enjoy it too and I know it's keeping you warm and toasty. It's still pretty warm here too. We are having some gorgeous weather but I would love to see a little snow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlyfritz.JPG Fritz cuddled in the blue chair this morning.First went to the blue chair to curl up,I went and got him,no growling and took him and put him down on my bed.Not long after get into bed,he heard a noise and growled,I gabbed before he got off the bed.It turned out it was a Calendar that fell down i had taped on the wall and some of my clothes fell off the bedpost.I was just sitting down to eating breakfast that Fritz came out,he wanted out.he first took off under the table then went out.He had his toast and cereal after that and was cuddled next to me in the chair.Mom came out and she had a Raisin bun,he had a liitle,cuddled with her.Around 10, we went to the Oshawa Shopping Center for something to do where i bought a couple of Robert Ludlum books and a Lotto 649 ticket.A cousin of mine sent me a e-mail on Thursday(it came to her by way of St.Andrews Scotland)you send it to 4 or 5 friends and you win money in four days and if you sent it to 12 friends and family ,you geet a windfall in 2 days so will see what happens with he Lottery draw tonight.Still a Winter Storm Watch out.Now it says freezing Rain,to rain anywhere from 36 to 41 tomorrow,so Marlene and Larry will have to leave a little earlier to get to Pearson Airport for their flight to Nassau,Bahamas for 4 days.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddlyyawn.JPG Fritz on Mom's lap this morning,Mom holding back a yawn.Taffy is here until Thursday,Larry and Marlene have gone with Larry's sister and her husband.We have had freezing rain,we stayed home,didn't go to church.Supposed to be changing to rain this afternoon.Fritz went to bed with me.At 20 after 12 this morning,he heard my Weather Station alarm going off down here,has gone off 3 or 4 times today probably due to this storm.had his cereal and toast,we had Sweet Potato Soup for lunch,cleaned both bowls right up.Having Peameal Bacon and Beans for supper.Hope it will clear up enough to go to the hockey game tonight ,game 2 of the playoffs,leading series 1-0 after a 2-1 win Friday night.Didn't win any money last night,not even close,maybe tonight in the 50/50 draw at the hockey game.

Barry, it sounds like your weather was similar to what we had here in Chicago. It has rained all day and switched over to sleet just over the past couple of hours. We're supposed to get snow after the sleet. Is Taffy with you while her people are on vacation?

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fritzyawn.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/taffygirl.JPG Fritz with Mom this morning in the chair,having a big yawn and Taffy with her head on the pillow.They get along pretty good,both had a bit of our supper peal Bacon and Beans,had some rolls with Garlic in it,had some of those too.Behaved while I was at the game ,both went out.Fritz wouldn't go to bed until he had a dish of water,he was out in the kitchen growling,I filled the dish and took him to bed while Taffy stayed out in the livingroom to sleep.She came once to Mom,didn't stay.Fritz had his breakfast from me, and mom,was up with Mom and Taffy was on the couch snoozing.Marlene phoned after got through security at the airport,Flight was to leave at 4:45 Sunday,was delayed one to 5:05 and again until 5:17 due to fog.According to the Airline ,Skyservice they arrived in Nassau at 8:30 last night.Marlene may phone later on.Taffy made one boo-boo this morning,piddled on the carpet,Mom wasn't happy with her,she had been sleeping on Mom's bed,of course i only found it when I stepped in it and got a wet sock.37 degrees now and getting colder with a strong breeze,wind warning in place around her and other places.A trace of snow overnight into Tuesday nothing to worry about.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/closeyup1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/closeyup2.JPG Two closeup shots of Fritz on the couch yesterday.I was at least 10 feet from when I took it,I used the zoom on the camera for full effect.Marlene called yesterday around 5,having a good time,have been to the beach,were having supper later.it turned out the reason they were late taking off was the plane that was taking them was later arriving and the flight crew that was flying them down were also waiting and they were a half hour waiting for the plane to be refueled and ready to go.Larry's Brother-In-Law Al slept the whole way down,didn't want to look out the window.Mom thinks she will call tomorrow night and they leave down there Thursday morning at 10:35 and arrive in Toronto at 1:50.The dogs have been pretty good,Taffy made a boo-boo down here this morning,pooped on the carpet,Mom and I weren't happy with that.Had chicken breast for supper,Fritz cleaned my plate,Taffy had a little from Mom but got in a little hurry for it and didn't get any more.had banana cake for dessert,Fritz cleaned the plate up.At one point yesterday,Taffy shove her water dish across the floor,it was empty and it was her way of saying she needed a fill up.Had to give Fritz a biscuit to get him to bed,after that he was fine.taffy gets a certain amount of biscuits in the morning and a Bacon strip,Fritz had a Bacon strip also,also had toast and cereal.

I can't believe the weather everybody is having. It is bizarre.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/doggysnack7.JPG Fritz having cereal this morning.At first,Fritz slept across my feet,had to move him.Fritz ended up laying on his side,head on the other pillow.Had his breakfast, went out,got really cold overnight from 31 last night down to 10 degrees this morning,colder with the wind.Mom brought home a DVD set of the Inspector Lynley Mysteries,4 in the set that is what i did this morning and early this afternoon.Fritz has had some entertainment today, a couple of neighbor's trees were trimmed.there was a in a bucket like they have on Hydro trucks that swung a bit close to the house,Fritz didn't like and barked.Also our neighbor across the street were getting new windows in,similar to ones we have in our house.I go to a hockey game,may be the last one here this year,if our team doesn't win,they are eliminated from the playoffs.Mom will watch American Idol tonight.Had Meat Pies and Tarts tonight,Fritz enjoyed some.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/flippawsies.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snackybeg1.JPGFritz flipped over the carpet Wednesday afternoon and this morning begging for my toast.Fritz won't have to wait in the window for me now to come back from hockey games this year as our junior team,the Eagles were eliminated in four straight games last night by the Wellington Dukes.At 20 after nine,i wasn't home eye and Fritz was ready to go to bed.After getting home,watched the rest of the Maple Leafs game,they won in a shootout 4-3 over the Florida Panthers.Two days ago Irene went to the doctor and got a good report,cancer is staying away,they will come up sometime in March and stay overnight when the weather is nice and not snowing.Fritz eventually and slept tight to me and moves away when is it is near time to get up.He went out after getting up,didn't stay out only only 2 degrees out,going up to 14,tomorrow 2 inches of snow,next Monday will be 43 and rain. Fritz had his cereal and toast,sat up and waved his paws for toast,was hungry as he never had his own food the day before.I think Fritz is up in Mom's chair,mom going to get groceries.

Good morning, Fritz! I love that second photo, the one Barry titles, "snackybeg." Your face is so adorable! And the blankie you got, with white one with the black paw prints on it is just fantastic for a bichon -- it is bichon colors, black and white!

Looking back, look at the all the snow you have! We don't get snow like that here and a good thing, too. Little Ozzy would jump in a snow pile, sink down and disappear!!!

I laughed seeing Taffy upside down on YOUR sofa. Sure did get comfy, huh? Then a few photos later, you were upside down on a chair. Good for you to be relaxed!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/flippawsies1.JPG Fritz flipped over on the couch Thursday afternoon.We had cabbage rolls for super,Fritz thought they were good.Had some cherry pastry for dessert,that was good also.Fritz didn't come down right away last night.I had to get him down with a biscuit.He was under the couch from after 4 until after 6 last night until we had a snack,Cherry pastry.After this he sits on the back of the chair,tilting his head,he wants to up,not outside up stairs,I put him out.he came back in,wanted a drink,gave him water,later was doing the tilting of the head again so brought his food down,not it,he went and had a drink.He was in Mom's lap,then off under the couch until bed time.He went to the window first and I went and picked him up,said good night to Mom and off to bed where he stayed without a word.had his toast and cereal,is really afraid of dishes,he picks the toast up and backs away quickly from the plate.Has been out twice,been snoozing under his blanket when Mom went to the hairdressers,is still there now.getting a little snow today,maybe a couple of inches,rain Monday and 41.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/flippawsies2.JPG Fritz flipped over on the couch snoozing Friday afternoon.He had been right on his back with paws in the air then was turning over,his mouth must have been dry,he is licking his lips.Had potato Salad,coleslaw and deli meat for supper,Fritz cleaned the plate.Had Strawberries and a bun for dessert,Fritz like strawberries will eat anything.Fritz makes me laugh,he will sit on the back of the chair and wants something,I ask him if he's hungry or wants to go out,he tilts his head one way then the other,get a good laugh from that,he also tries to kiss me or raise a paw.To start with last nigh,he slept at the corner of the bed facing the end table then got right up tight,where he was last night.Had his breakfast from us,went out,there was more snow out there,he likes,also was a little freezing rain which made it a little harder to shovel,got it done,have a pile of it on the south side of the driveway,to get rain on Monday,the pile may shrink a bit.there might be more snow by the middle of the week,The first two weeks this month will still be snowy then gradually get better.going to Kelsey's tonight for upper,will have to remember to bring Fritz home a treat,he always looks for when we go out and eat.

We went to Kelsey's last night,I had a Chicken Club Sandwich and Fries , and a Caesar Salad,mom had Broccoli Soup sand Pita Bread with a dip.Mom brought Fritz home some Chicken and a piece of Bacon from my Sandwich.For dessert,we shared a Apple crumble.Fritz got into begging last night.he wanted some dog biscuits,then wanted a drink,then outside.He cuddled with Mom before going under the little couch.Fritz went to the window before bed,I went and got him and put him in my bed,He slept all over the bed before sleeping next to the other pillow.This morning,he got up at 10 after 6,he went out and wanted water,then he had to go out then to Mom's chair where he waited to have my breakfast and he had some of mom's which was a Raisin bun.A little over an hour later,wanted fresh water again.He was in the window when we went to church still there when we got back.Fritz had some of my meat sandwich,barks for it.Now in the window,catching some sun rays.having ribs for supper.forgot to mention that Bev was still having problems with her blood pressure due to her diabetes and my Uncle Elwood come home from hospital.My Aunt told Mom,he was getting up at 4 in the morning and be ready by six for his son Dennis to come and get him.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozycuddle1.JPG Fritz on Mom's lap this morning,Mom reading the paper.Fritz did everything he could to tell me last night to go to bed,he sat at the back of the chair pawing my arm,talking and tilting his head,we finally went up around 10.He first went to the window,went and got him,put him on the bed,a few minutes later,he growled and went out to the kitchen,not sure what for I went and picked him up and took him back to bed where he was quiet the rest of the night.I got up at 6:30,Fritz shortly after and he had to go out,then a drink then with me in the chair.Mom got up,had a bun ,he went to her for some,then came to me and growled and begged for toast and cereal.About an hour ago,he was barking at a kid standing on a snow bank waiting for the bus,not our snowbank,still not a wise decision to be doing that,could fall.He is in Mom's chair now curled up.Supposed to be in the high 40's today and rain,tomorrow night into Tuesday snow again.babysitting Fritz tonight,Mom has a church meeting.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozycuddle2.JPGFritz cuddling up in the chair this morning.He was good last night,barked a couple of times,then went and slept on the end of Mom's bed waiting for her to come home from her meeting .Mom brought home some pieces of cake they had at the meeting ,Lemon Poppyseed and, Coffee cake,Fritz liked that.Soon after,went to bed,he went to the window,I went to get him he growled but he let me pick him up and take him to bed,say good night to mom and I put him on the bed where he was fairly quiet all night .I got up at 20 after 6 to put garbage and plastic recycling boxes out,he was up waiting at the top of the stairs,he had to go out,came back in,was with Mom first to have some of her bun.He has been barking at kids and possibly a dog.He is now in Mom's chair napping.Earlier this morning after coming in,he was on a blitz and tried to grab one of my slippers,I caught him at it,yesterday though he got it and was under the table,gave him a bone to get it from him.More snow tonight,2-4 inches,possible some freezing rain after midnight and 2 inches tomorrow, more on the weekend and maybe Monday as well.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/mumsbed.JPG Fritz snoozing at the end of Mom's bed last night waiting for her to come home from the Hospital gift shop.He went to bed fairlry quietly,though he did growl at me when I picked him up .Slept all over the bed and finally ended up right beside me on his side.gets up shortly after I do and he had to go out in the snow,ended up with 6 inches with some freezing rain in between.It was too much for me to do,Mom got a couple of people to do the driveway and the North side of the house with a snowblower and a four wheel ATV with a blade on it,gave them $20 for doing it.Fritz barked at them while they were here.He was bad as he ripped holes in a new magazine Mom had got.Fritz had a great time out in the snow,got a little wet and Mom found that out when she sat in her chair where Fritz had been.Earlier in the day,tried grabbing one of my slippers,I saw him do it and he dropped it immediately.Cleaned out my soup bowl at lunch,we had Macaroni and Pea meal bacon for supper and Banana cake for dessert, cleaned the first plate up and had a little cake.Fritz now up in the window,Mom has gone to help at a dinner at the church,will be after 9 before she is back.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cerealpup.JPG Fritz this morning having cereal.He still doesn't like plates will reach from far away from it as possible and take it and eat it,won't put his paw on the plate to steady it.he was quiet all night except once where he stood up in bed around 3,maybe heard the paper being delivered.Has been snoozing in the window,in the curtains in Mom's chair and mine.We had Big Macs and Fries today,Fritz had some too,the oven part of the stove won't heat up,Mom called the place where we got it ,got no answer ,will try again in the morning.Mom and were busy this morning cleaning the stove,under the microwave,the side of the fridge,behind that there was dust on the fridge,Mom vacuumed that and we moved the fridge out and cleaned under ,it was really dirty.The guy who bought my 94 Sunbird came by to look at our pool table,he is possibly buying it,Mom asking for $500,he will talk it over with the wife first.We have had it for 40 years,Larry had got it through a friend of his.Larry's Brother-In-Law came and got the Snowblower,took it home to fix and then it went to Larry's and he will use it there,my Uncle is going to buy one next winter and do ours when it gets bad.Fritz in the window,Mom gone to hospital gifts shop,probably watching for her,will end up going to her bed to wait and end up meeting her at the door when she gets back.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snowwalky.JPGFritz strolling on the pile of frozen snow in the gazebo late this afternoon .Fritz had to go in his,we were getting our stove looked at,wasn't heating up.The bake igniter wasn't providing enough power,needs a new one,so will hear about if they have one in stock or have to order one.We had KFC for supper with Fries and Coleslaw,not bad,Fritz had a Fries and a little Chicken,cleaned up crumbs of some Vanilla cake for dessert.Had a little play with Monkey after supper.Has had a snooze under the couch, layed down in front of his dish and wanted a drink,had that,then wanted dog biscuits and had those ,now in Mom's lap.We will see where he sleeps tonight.

Had a good super at my Aunt's yesterday.Also there were my Cousin and his wife,she had the tumor removed,hair has grown back,still doesn't drive,feels lightheaded when she turns her head,their son Darren and girlfriend Jen,Darren's brother Jonathan and fiancee Loretta,getting married later this year and their sister Melissa.Had Turkey,Potatoes,Carrots,Turnip,Buns,Cabbage salad, two kinds of dressing,dessert was Pumpkin Pie,Apple Pie and Apple Crisp,I had Pumpkin Pie.The kids did the dishes from the first course,the second we had paper plates.Fritz was in the window when we went over and was on the bed and he greeted me at the door when I returned.Reverend Lafave was proud to announce he will be a Grandfather later in the year,his son and wife are expecting their first child.Last night lost track of Fritz went to check on him ,he was under the couch he growled at me.I found out today why he had growled,my comb fell out of my pocket last night and he thought I was trying to get it and that's why he growled,chewed it up and now useless to me.He slept quiet last night,had his breakfast and outing outside,a drink ,now in mom's chair.A few minutes ago,Mom saw her first Robin around here,on a melted part of the front lawn,maybe a couple of inches of snow then rain tomorrow, snow ,rain mix later in the week,Fritz goes to the groomers on Thursday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/chaircurl1.JPGFritz curled up in Mom's chair this morning.Wednesday for lunch I had three powder covered donuts,left him 3 small pieces ,didn't want it,had salad to start for supper,he had some,had some Macaroni for supper,he licked the plate after we were done and had Apple crisp for dessert.I has some Lays barbecue chips later on after Mom was home from the gift shop,she had some,so did Fritz.Not a good night for TV here,our satellite dish was covered with snow and blocked the signal,happened to a lot of people in Ontario I had to listen to the Maple Leafs game on radio on NHL.com and Mom couldn't watch American Idol.Fritz had a quiet night in bed,up a little after me,had his toast And cereal from us, went out,come in and had a drink,sat with me and is Mom's chair now.Mom gone from 9 until 4 this afternoon,big church thing with ladies from different churches attending her in town,there will be speakers and there will be singing.Tonight,she has to go the funeral home, one of her friends who is in a nursing home had a daughter die of cancer a couple of days ago,mom is going with Marlene and some other ladies.May get some vacuuming done with the Aunties coming Friday.

Fritz had a good sleep with me,had his breakfast,somehow missed my meat on a bun I had for supper,had a little bread with butter on it I was having with Strawberries.Fritz now in the front window,Mom watching Deal or No deal,I am downstairs watching the Maple Leafs- Bruins hockey game.The picture of him on the couch,that is Marlene's hand,she came by,Fritz wagged his tail and stood up and gave her some kisses.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/breakfastbeg.JPG Fritz begging for cereal this morning,eyes half closed due to the flash.Fritz ended up right tight against me,keeping me warm.I got up a little after six and the he was under the covers,didn't bother him at all.Marlene had a Doctor's appointment in Toronto today,had a little pain where she wore a colostomy bag after her surgery 6 years ago so decided to have a checkup and Mom went along.They left around quarter after 7,raining out today and tomorrow,45 today and 52 tomorrow,maybe wet snow thursday and 41.Fritz had his toast and cereal after begging for it,been out,had a drink,has been in the window barking,saw larry drive in with the Cadillac and later it was a lady walking with an umbrella over her head and he doesn't like that.He is now in the window,just been barking again,I went up and nothing there.

Hi Barry, Good Day Fritz! I love you purple bandanna, so handsome. So you don't like people with umbrellas, huh? I'm not surprised. Most doggies don't like it if they can't see a person's eyes. Even a baseball cap with the visor covering the eyes will make a dog fearful. And some dogs, when afraid, they BARK! to cover it up.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/greetings1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/greetings2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk4.JPG Fritz greeting Aunt Bev and Irene today and Fritz on a walk with Bev and Irene just before we went out to supper tonight .He gave them kisses,got some treats,had some walks in the rain mixed with snow.They saw snow on their way in,once they were close to here,it was rain.They brought doughnuts from Tim Horton's had that with coffee,Mom had to get a new coffee pot this morning ,our old one quit.Not long ago,Irene had to go hospital,had a seizure, had been a bit too active that day,first one she has had in 10 years,is fine now,Bev still having trouble with high blood pressure due to her diabetes.I had Chicken Fingers,fries and a Caesar salad,everyone else had Liver and Onions,Irene brought Fritz back some liver for a treat,Mom and i had Chocolate Cream Pie for dessert,Bev Vanilla Ice Cream,Irene didn't have any.Marlene has come for a visit gave kisses on the face,is laying on the coffee table.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fritzsitty.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk5.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/walk6.JPG Fritz sitting in the window this morning,keeping a picture of Dad company and on a short walk with Bev today before they went home,didn't kiss then when they left.He was with me to start in my bed ,closed the door so he couldn't get out.he got off the bed shortly after going to bed,Mom said to open it and he went to sleep with Bev and Irene.Fritz slept at the foot of the bed,kept Bev's feet warm.He got up at 5:30 when Bev went to the washroom,he went and got a drink and then got back on the bed and stayed there until they got up.He had his cereal and toast from me,toast from everyone else,had a little walk before they left.With help from Larry and Larry's brother Frank got the old shed torn down, took some wood dad had put inside it to the dump,517 pounds of it.There is still more wood and metal sitting outside and junk in the garage to go.It sure looks different without it there,it was going to fall down eventually.Mom went with some ladies this afternoon to Cobourg ,Ontario to see a play called Menopositive,Mom said it was goo,barely got home and has gone out to the church tonight to hear music from the Lost Pilgrims think they are four priests who play different kinds of music.

Great pictures of you and the Aunties, Fritz!! It looks like everybody had a good time. I'm so sorry to hear that Irene had a seizure. She looks great with a full head of hair. It seems the cancer has left her. Auntie Bev looks great too!!
It's so funny that you don't give the Aunties a goodbye kiss, Fritzie!! You silly boy. You get so upset that they're leaving, you ignore them. What a smart boy you are. Behave yourself, buddy!! :)
