The thing with Slim Shady didn't work out, but it gave me an idea. I'm thinking I could put out an ad on craigslist.com for free riding in exchange for doing barn chores. Do you think that would work?
Here's my ad (well..it was my ad reworded by someone for me lol)
Junior rider currently looking for riding privileges in exchange for barn work within a 30 mile radius of the [where I live] area. Hard worker with a genuine desire to learn. Experience in english riding and will provide own tack if necessary. Available on [such and such days].
I don't know what days I'd be able to ride on so I haven't filled those in though.
But does is sound proffesional enough for people to take me seriously?
Any suggestions/editions welcome!
