Today's high is going to be supposed to be 68!! :eek:

Tomorrow's high is 65!

At my dad's house his daffadoils are already coming up out of the ground!

Yep, warm here today also! I wore a very lightweight sweater today AND NO COAT!!!!

The High Temperature Record for Youngstown, Ohio has stood at 52* since 1946 ...

Today we broke that record with the midnight LOW for Monday of 56*;
the new record will be about 65* which will be set sometime this afternoon.

WOW!

Tomorrow will probably be another record setter with a target High of 64*.

Then it's downhill from there :( ... "Winter" returns by next weekend.

I'm afraid the trees and plants are going to start that here in the Chicago area, too. I had windows open yesterday, but earlier in the week I had the space heater running because I couldn't keep warm. Very lopsided January so far. We're supposed to be back to typical weather later this week though.

In Pittsburgh, we broke a record that was standing since 1930! I think the old record was 61 degrees and right now in Pittsburgh it's 63 degrees. I'd go out without a jacket, but since I'm just getting over a cold I better wear one. The buds are coming out here, too.

I walked out with the dogs to let them potty and turned right back around inside to my family and said "... its HOT outside. ITS JANUARY!"

Looks like I'm gonna have to be spending more time outside today... Eventhough the sun sets in like four hours lol

Today in Pittsburgh there will be another record broken. The old record was 63 degrees in 1937 and today's high is predicted to be 67 degrees! I'm normally shoveling snow about now. I'm NOT complaining!!

We hit 72 today and I wore shorts to my physical therapy appointment. At the end of my session I usually spend about 20 minutes on really hot moist heat but after about 5 minutes I was cooking today and wishing for a refreshing cool pool to jump in.

I was cooking today and wishing for a refreshing cool pool to jump in.

I went through the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru on the way home from work and got a nice cold Coffee Coolada. (sp?) I haven't done that in months! Also, took the dogs out for a leisurely long walk with no jacket! :cool:

Power is out all over the place. Tons of schools are closed today because of no power. A major freeway was closed because of downed power lines.

No sleep for me last night. 70 mph winds howled til nearly 5:00 AM. At one point, I thought I might have to take shelter in the basement but I didn't. Y'know, I discovered that there really is no good TV on during the night. :(
Temperature dropped considerably, too. It went from 70 to around 40 now.

The weather sure has been crazy!!!!I was out at a car dealership getting paperwork done with a friend of mine that just bought her hubby a new truck,And there was a man walking around the parking lot with shorts on also(i dont think it is warm enough for that yet.

Yesterday we had a really bac wind storm,it took shingles off or roof,Up the road a barn was blown down,Transpot trucks knocked over all over the highway.

There is no snow left and we did have alot,so our sump pup hasbeen running like crazy,And i looked at our forecast and we are supposed to have snow all next week.

I remeber years ago our winters were very cold,I dont know what is happening but this sure dont feel like winter.

Our power was out also yesterday morning from 9-11:30.

I went for a drive today,there was a metal roof ripped off,trees down everywhere,alot of damage from yesterdays wind storm.

The weather has been all over the board here. It poured buckets last night and today it's just gray and windy. My sinuses are on automatic drip. Enough already. It's winter. I'd like to see some consistency. It went from 2 degrees and snow, to 40 some degrees and rain, then back to 4 degrees, then up to 70, then rain and 70 mph winds, then down to 22. Now it's 44. C'mon! :confused:
