Are the smiley's weird or is it just my computer???

Tonight, I was surfing through, and noticed a couple of times where smileys suddenly appeared in the middle of words. I thought it was weird like the posters made a typo or something. Then I noticed it is throughout every thread, and the smileys are somewhat pixelated, too. Is it just my computer that has gone whacky? (I mean I know I'm exhausted, but I don't think I'm dreaming.) ;)

actually, I rebooted for the second time and that time everything is back to normal. :o The virus scan runs every time I boot up, and it didn't catch anything either time....so I'm not sure what was wrong. I'm glad its normal again, though. :)
