Mike told me that Dozer had a seizure this morning.. and he doesn't know what happened, and all they can do is to keep an eye on him. Pray and send good thoughts to Dozer & Mike's family.. thanks!

Prayers for Dozer, {hugs} for you and Mike.

If there is any chance he just got into something (like the eggnog?) I am hoping it is a one time thing. Please remind me, how old is Dozer?

He's pretty young, 3-4 years old. He may have gotten into something, but I doubt it was eggnog.

Has Dozer ever had other seizures? Prayers that he gets feeling better.

Correction: Dozer is 5 years old.

Nope, he never had a seizure before so it was the first one. He did throw up once this evening.

Hopefully, he will be alright.

hey, i've got lots of experience with seizure dogs, PM me if you need to. otherwise, keep a close eye on dozer, keep the excitement level down if you can, and since he threw up, unsalted chicken broth and rice would be my best dinner advice. i know how scary it is, ((for mike and you))

I hope Dozer is better. That is pretty scarey. My mom's dog started having seizures when she was a little older, but they were infrequent & mild enough, the vet didn't put her on meds or anything. Prayers that Dozer will be okay!

I stopped over Mike's before I went home tonight; and saw Dozer. Dozer was back to his normal self, being the happy, clumsy boy. When I called him over, and he put his front 2 legs on me, just to sit by me and let me pet him and talk to him a little. He's such a good boy. He seems to be doing OK. :)

Glad to hear that Dozer seems to be doing alright. Hopefully it was just an unusual reaction to something.

That is what I am hoping of what it was all along.
