ACT! 2008 by Sage - where the Help section DOESN'T. ;)
And help support is online with a tech...I hope we still get it free for a little while. But sheesh...I can USUALLY figure things out, but this database defies logic...
Created a custom database. Added the extra fields, etc, designing a new layout. NP.
Now, to import everything from an old database which is now a CSV file. Fine.
I go to map the fields while in the Import process, and I can map only 16 columns. I need about 22 - 23. And NO clues ANYWHERE about adding extra space to map the extra fields.
If anyone has the slightest clue what I am talking about, PLEASE reply.
Meanwhile, going to go peruse the user's manual that I ftp'd home. It might be better than the HELP menu. MIGHT. :rolleyes:
