New addition in the AnimaHouse26 home!

Sarah (AnimalHouse26) and I have been visiting shelters and searching online for the past two days.
Well, today we visited the Humane Society (the one I adopted Nala and Kiara from) and met an adorable 1 year old Shar Pei/Boxer mix. Her name was Star but it is now Celeste (I suggested it because it's pertaining to Star.)
Petfinder page: It says Shar Pei/Pit mix but Sarah and I both see Boxer instead.

Anyhow, we took Tyson, Falise, and Mufasa (he and I were staying with them) to meet her earlier today. Well, she did wonderfully with them (Mufasa and her have not stopped playing!) and she now has a home!

She was there since August and became one of the shelter's favorites. We had 6 or so volunteers cheering and saying how happy they were for her!

Yay, welcome to Pet Talk, Celeste. I love the fact that she has a pretty, girly name. It's funny when I saw the first picture I thought Shar Pei/Pit, when I saw the second to last picture I said, "oh yeah, Boxer," lol. I love the picture where the dogs are all lying facing different directions.

Thanks guys! we had a interesting evening with 4 dogs in here! lol But it went ok! She just wants to play with everyone! She loves all the dogs, and just wants them to love her! And you can see it in her face! Kay lavished her with Kisses, and she LOVED That! She likes the Sofa, But isn't allowed on them here. She is gonna be a Daddy's girl I am sure! He just needs to learn how to be "Assertive" with her! But, we will get pics posted up soon!

We took her out with us and she is soo funny.. Whenever we stopped to look at something, she would just lay down! lol And we had to Pry her up to walk with us again. She is Doing MUCH better around the other dogs now. *She has always did well but was a little over excited* She isn't sure what to do outside in the yard. .she stays right by the door.. pees and just peeks around the corner to watch the other dogs. we are very happy with her and her just happy go lucky attitude! :-) I will keep you informed on how she does as time passes!

Aww she is adorable! I love the pic of her laying down, with the typical boxer face.. "What you want?" lol. Eli does that all the time. I definitely see the boxer/ shar pei... Face and ears are very boxer-like.. and all the excess skin = shar pei.. definitely. She's a very unique (in a good way) looking dog! Glad that you snatched her up!

What a gorgeous dog!! I love her coloring, its very unique. I see a bit of pittie in her too, but that's just me. She is absolutely stunning, congratulations on the new addition!
