Ice in the sun (pics)

I thought I'd share a few pictures I took this morning after the recent ice storm. It was actually thicker yesterday morning but still really gray and cloudy and raining/sleeting, but when the sun broke out this morning it was just breathtaking. Everything looked like glass. Most of these are of my huge silver maple in my front yard.

I think ice is quite pretty(dangerous but pretty) great pics! That storm actually completely missed us!

Aren't the trees beautiful outlined in ice! I don't think it is good for them, but it is quite lovely to see.

I'm so jealous! It looks like you live in a winter wonderland! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get snow this year, we had some last year (first time in 7 years).

Although I hate what ice storms can do, they sure make for breath taking scenery don't they?!
