Man, photographing a 1 year old for Christmas cards isn't an easy feat!

It took several sessions to get a usable photo. First shoot went something like this.... Cam stand by the tree. No! do NOT rip balls off the tree! Stand and face Grandma. Stay there. No no no don't cry sweetie. Lets just say we didn't get any photos that time :p

Next time went MUCH better, except he wanted nothing to do with the Santa hat.

Grandma, I'm bored with this Christmas stuff!

After he was done ripping the hat off, he had a snack, which ended up in Nicki's tummy more so than his

Then he got used to it and actually sat with a prop (we needed the prop)
I really liked this photo

but a closer look reveals a smudged face (graham crackers sure are messy!)

I took this photos (which is what I used) without a flash, and was amazed at how crisp it came out. He actually sat still for two seconds!

Here's the official card that I sent to family and friends:

I thought I did a decent job of cutting and pasting he photo to look like he was sitting in front of the tree.... I'm sure many of you could have done a better job :o

I made them Sunday and mailed them yesterday (it only took a week to get stamps  )

Of course today I took two photos I'd have preferred to use if I waited a few more days to make the cards. Oh well... I'll use this one as his ornament this year. I bought a few snowflake shaped picture frames as ornaments for myself and the great-grandparents.

I also liked this one from today

Of course, after a week of photoshoots with the hat, he now keeps it on willingly and even puts it on by himself.

I also have a short video of him ho-ho-ho-ing. I've been trying to teach him that all week and its totally cute :)

Great pictures, Kim!!

I was going to have a picture of me and the Mooman in his handsome tux. Unfortunately, he's um, well, I uh, how do I say it???

HE PUT ON A FEW POUNDS!!!

The tux doesn't fit. So we're off to PetSmart for a new one. :(

Awwwww, the card you made is fantastic! Nobody will notice that you changed the background, you also fooled me :) !!
What a sweet toddler he is, please give him a hug & kiss from me! Oh, make sure he didn't eat a cookie... ;)

ps.where did you find that oval Christmas-frame?
