http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sunpooch.JPGhttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/warmboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toyboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/blinkyboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/playdog.JPG The first picture is the one I had trouble with yesterday,picture now titled "sunpooch",Fritz later wariming up in the window,grabbing a toy from the bed,blinking at the camera flash as he is begging and on Mom's chair today trying to hide the Monkey.We had problems with the toilet downstairs backing up,turns out water gurgled when the washing machine was going.The pipe was pugged,cost $280 to fix,seems fine now,still need a drain service to come by.Fritz kept me cozy last night,had to keep a hold of him while the pipe was being cleaned out.I had Ham sandwich for lunch,he had some .Mom and i went out to dinner at Swiss Chalet after returning the Black Ink I got yesterday,wasn't the right size,so took it back and got the right one.For supper,we had what is called a Festive dinner which is a Quarter Chicken Dinner,White meat,Fries,Cranberries,Dressing and a small bun,also shared a Caesar Salad.To drink,I had a Mango/Banana drink,Mom coffee and dessret wa a small Buttescotch Sundae.Brought Fritz home some Chicken,he was in the window waiting and went to the door to greet us and Mom gave him the Chicken.Had a play with the Monkey,got a video of him looking for a place to hide it.Just stuck his head out from undder the couch,got a shot him doing that and yawning.Sat looking at his water,had to fill it,gave me a kiss for it and now is curled up on Mom's knee ,Mom had been snoozing.Went to the Memorial service at church last night,names of people were called that have died recently,a relative went up to receive a momento,it was a small candle.I met a friend of mine whose Dad had died two weeks ago,I hadn't talked to my friend in 20 years and also met a lady who in a businness class I was in 25 years ago and was neighbors when we live din the north end of town.

The Aunties called ,they are fine,car in the repair shop all week,electrical trouble,also got a nice Christmas card with a dog that looked something like Fritz.

Fritz cuddled close to me all night,had his cereal,went out and came in and had a drink.When Taffy came he follows her around,then I heard him running around upstairs on one of his blitzes,got tired and got up with Mom in the chair.Mom wil walk up to the Hospital later and stay with Marlene until Larry is out of surgery ,our hospital is about a 5 minute walk from our house.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lappytime.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddletime.JPG Fritz on Mom's lap as she was on the phone,just had some Christmas cake and this morning his head on Mom's knee.Fritz waits for me to go to bed,then follows me up and he first makes a bed on my bedspread,then after a few minutes,cuddles beside me,then he moved over onto the other pillow and then off that and curled up in a ball.Had toast from Mom first,then my cereal and toast,went out and then had a drink,cuddled with me in the chair then to Mom on the couch.Larry's Gallbladder and hernia surgery went great,had it done by 20 to 9 and he phoned Mom from home at 1 in the afternoon.He was in a little pain,had a sleep,his sister stopped to see him for a few minutes.he is supposed to take it easy for a few days.Fritz goes to the groomers tomorrow,hopefully no bad weather and the Aunties may come Friday or Saturday depending on the weather.Mom having ladies over for cards tonight ,so Fritz will stay down here with me,may be allowed to go up later if he behaves himself.

He rode on my lap for the ride to the groomers,shaking at first,then panting wasn't that warm in the Van,just excited to get there.I carried him in,his tail was going and when I went in the door,dogs werre barking,one was Bichon,there was a Sheepdog,a Collie Puppy that belonged to the groomer that came right to Fritz,plus two cats.Michelle the groomer said he was a good boy,probably had a play before having a bath and a haircut.He was kind of snoozy on the rid home, went to tghe corner of the kitchen to snooze until Mom got some Puff Pastry they had last night for a snack.He is now in Mom's chair.Getting more snow,maybe a couple of inches,Sunday may be 2-4 inches.Larry doing pretty well,has had a little pain,probably from the surgery other than that he is doing good.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozy.JPG A blurry picture of fritz in Mom's chair this morning.He slept all night with me,right tight against me.I had Pancakes for brerakfast,he had a little and later I had a sandwich,he had some of that.I got a video of him sitting waiting for it and it will be on youtube tomorrow.Mom going to a show in Toronto today at Rogers Center.The place is decked out like a palace in Vienna,will have dancers Waltzing,there will be figure skating,the host of it plays a Violin fronting an Orchestra.Apparently it took a week to get the set ready for the show going 24 hours a day at it.Shortly I wil be getting my haircut and will babysit Fritz,having a Sub for supper,he will like that.Big snowstorm coming starting sometime tomorrow,maybe up to 6 inches who knows,weather people have wrong before predicting these.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/tastetime.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sleepdog.JPG Fritz this morning having cereal and at 10 after 11 last night,an hour and a half before Mom came home snoozing in her chair.Mom had a good time last night,had good seats,they had horses pulling Golden Carriages,singers came out and Mom said they really sang loud and clear,had dancers Waltzing,a main stage where Andre Rieu and the Orchestra were and they had 4 screens set up so people could what was going on,skaters skating,had 350 Chandeliers hanging from the the roof of the center and the front of a Vienese palace behind the stage.Mom got home around 20 to 1 this morning,Fritz and I stayed up to waiti for her.He was pretty good,spent a little time down here before my bath and he went up when I did that.After the odd time he would bark at something outside then go to the back door and want out,would bark once outside.A couple of times he did that wanting out, told him no,he would just bark.He first curled up on the bedspread then got tight to me where he stayed all night.Had his usual breakfast,went out twice and is now in the living room laying down.Supposed to get a big dump of snow,8-10 inches.As pitc9 said in a post yesterday "I will believe it when I see it".Video of Fritz titled "Lunchy" is now on youtube to check out.

Fritz went to the living room and curled up in the chair.He barked at a car outside and Mom got him and brought him to me where he stayed all night,by the pillow or close to me.It reallycooled down here,it was 46 degrees Sunday afternoon, and it cooled down to 29-30 degrees and windy with a tiny bit of snow.Tonight Mom,me and my Aunt are going to a Christmas Pageant at the church,then to my sister's and if I can stay awake go to a Candlelight service at church at 11:00 tonight.Tomrrow to my sister's to open gifts and later on we are having dinner there,Fritz is coming for that and the gifts too.Merry Christmas and Happy 2008 to all my Pet Talk friends from me,Mom and Fritz.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/treatbag1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/ornament2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/treatbag2.JPGhttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/treatbag3.JPG Fritz yesterday staring a this bag of treats,he growled at it,had to dump it out and the night before with all the ornaments in front of the little tree .This is the first of 12 pictures of Fritz and one of Taffy I took on Christmas .It all started with Christmas Eve,Mom,my Aunt and I went to a Christmas Pageant at the church , it was a play on the birth of Jesus.After this we went to Marlene and Larry's for some snacks,Larry's brother Frank was there and so was Larry's Dad and his girlfriend.Then we went home for a bit and then went and picked up Marlene to go to the 11:00 Candlelight service.We all took candles,we sang Carols,took Communion and we lit all the Candles, lights were off in the church.The Reverend lit his and lit someone elses and that went on until until all the candles were lit and we held them up and sang Silent Night once,exchanged candles with other people and sang Silent Night again,holding the candles high,quite a sight,service was over close to 12.After the Pageant earlier,as we were going out the church bells rang,have never heard then before earlier. I will continue the story in the next post.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/collar1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/collar2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/dogtoy.JPG Pictures of Fritz with his new collar,it lights up,will get a picture of it lit up today and up at Marlene's with his new Dog squeaky,just loves it.Mom also got him a new dogtag ,also treats.About a month ago,I bought a Bichon Calendar for Mom and another to hang in the kitchen.I got new dress clothes for church,two new shirts,a throw blanket with the Toronto Maple Leafs logo on it and a pair of jogging pants to wear around the house.then we went to Larry and Marlene's.I got 3 Hockey books,a Maple Leafs sweatshirt and a Seatbelt cover with the Leafs logo on it.We each got a Coffee mug with a Cardinal on it,a wooden Moose Sculpture that says welcome on it,Marlene got Mom a nice blouse at Mom's favorite store,also a Pointsettia in a arrangement made from Birch branches I think.After all this,we went home for a bit and went back for supper around 5.It was Mom,and Fritz,Larry's brother Frank and Taffy.Had Turkey,Turnip,Potatoes,Sweet potatoes that Marlene made for Mom,Dressing ,Coleslaw,Pickles,Olives,Beets and Buns.Dessert was bits of Gelatin or Jello, in cream with wafer crumbs on it that Mom made.Fritz and Taffy got some Turkey after supper.Friends of Larry and Marlene's Rick and Cheryl who were at the cottage for Thanksgiving dinner dropped by after supper,Marlene and Larry each got a watch plus one set of dishes and coffee cups.Marlene gave us some leftovers from dinner to have tonight,may last to tomorrow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sleepyin.JPGFritz sleeping in this morning on my bed .He came up when we did last night,slept on the bedspread for a couple of hours,heard a dog bark,didn't leave the room,curled back up on the bedspread.Around midnight,he still hadn't got up beside me and was biting himself,he then shook himself and I had to help him up onto the bed where he finally settled down.Fritz never got up until 10 to 8,around the same time Mom did.Guess he was too tired,didn't have toast or cereal.Curled up with Mom for a bit in the chair,he ended up with me as i was watching aJunior hockey game on tv and he shared a bun with meat with me.Fritz now in the window looking out where it is raining and 39 degrees.A new video of fritz is on youtube called "snacky" if you would like to check it.I hope so,some of you have seemed to have forgotten him lately.

Sorry to hear you have a sore spot. Marlin had one for a time, he jumped off Dad's bed and must have landed "wrong." Took some time to heal up. We try to lift him off rather than have him jump down, but he is impatient and won't always wait for us. The rule is: if you can't jump UP on it, then you are not to jump OFF by yourself! Try and remember that, Fritz, just bark until Barry or mom can lift you down. We don't want any more injuries! Oraing this one heals up quickly for you, boy.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/mypal1.JPG Fritz this morning in Mom's chair.His hip is still hurting.I thought he was getting better when he ran to the back door to greet my cousin Sharon and boyfriend who dropped in for few minutes.he was jumping around greeting them,trying to kiss them and when my cousin's boyfriend tried to pick him up he squealed and ran behind a living room chair and stayed the whole time.At supper ,he stayed under the dining room table,afraid we were going to hurt him.Had a little of our supper and a little ice cream,had to take it to him.After this,he went to Mom's bedroom to lay on the mat and was going to put him on her bed and he ducked under the bed where he stayed until after 10 last night,finally got him out with treats and a drink of water.I put him on my bed where he slept all night.This morning,Mom got him and he sat with her in her chair and then he had a drink,went out,come in and had toast and cereal,had another drink and is now under the dining room table,won't us touch him.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/underbed1.JPG Fritz under my bed this morning.Fritz can jump down off the couch fine,it is the jumping up he can't do.He will have to be careful when Marlene,Larry and Taffy come that he doesn't get too excited and hurt himself again.Slept with me last night,he was under the couch before comimng up,I tried moving him,he growled,left him there,came out on his own,mom gave him a treat,I picked him up and I put him out.Didn't stay long and he went to bed,quiet all night,just about pushing me out of bed.Brought him to the couch today and he had his breakfast there.Now every time ,he comes in from outside,he expects a treat,mom has them in the spare bedroom and he knows it.he is now in the lving room,just had another Denti stix.I was up at 5,had a little snow to do and there was a hockey game on at 6 from Switzerland,Canada beat a Russian team 2-1 to win the Spengler Cup in Davos and at 12 the Canadian juniors play Denmark in the World Under 20 Championships in the Czech Republic.Fritz is here now with his Duck wanting to play,jumped on the chair and from the floor to the couch and jumped on the coffee table no problem,maybe feeling better.

Mom made a good supper last.We had Scalloped Potatoes,Carrots,Turnip,Ham,Pickles,Buns and Broccoli Salad which had Bacon bits in them,also Red Onions and Mandarin Oranges .Had the Jello dessert with Graham Crumbs .Both Fritz and Taffy had some Ham ,Fritz also had a bit of dessert.Taffy is feeling better,can't jump up into the truck,needs a boost,Fritz seems to be fine,can jump up on things but didn't jump on Mom's chair but did to get with me this morning.Fritz came when I went to bed and was on the bedspread,then he moved to the mat and was sitting there,may have wanted up on the bed.I went to pick him up,he went under the bed and I left him there,Went back to bed,he whined,tried getting him out with a little cheese,also trying to push him out,he growled as if he was going to bite.Finally got him out.Mom asked if he was going to stay or go to his bed,so gave him to Mom and she took him to his bed,wasn't very happy with him.He took his time coming out,didn't have breakfast from us,got up in the chair with me,far as I know is still there.Right nmow.it is sunny and cold 10 degrees,by Sunday up to around 50 amd Rain,mild for the 2-3 weeks and February is to be cold.Everyone got a kick out of Fritz on his back playing with his Monkey and Dog stuffy.Mom has started taking decorations down,tree will stay where it is downstairs.cover with a plastic bag.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/windowdog4.JPG Fritz peering out the front window this morning.Taffy first weent snd got on Mom's bed,Fritz on mine.Taffy then heard a vehicle and got off the bed and went to the front room,she never went back,Fritz heard her and he went under the dining room table and he wanted water.Fritz first came back and looked at mom, didn't stay came back to me and Taffy layed on the living room floor next to the blue chair.They both were quiet down here before bed,Taffy slept on the big and little couch and Fritz on the back of the chair and under the little couch.Both went up when it was time to go up.Fritz had his cereal and toast plus a little Beggin strips,Taffy gets 3 biscuits from home to have in the morning.Larry come to get Taffy this morning,he says want to go for a ride in the truck and she barks excitedly.Fritz stayed in Mom's chair while we were at church and just a few minutes ag0,was curled up close to Mom in her chair.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/blanket4.JPGFritz this afternoon covered by his pawprint blanket.Fritz was waiting in the window when Mom brought me home from the hockey game.He went to my bedroom was laying on the bedspread first,rooted around then was scaratching the mat in my bedroom.He then came up on the bed and kept me company.Had his usual breakfast,went out 2 or three times to walk around in the snow.He had some sandwich with me for lunch.We had Potatoes,Turnip and Roast Beef,Mince Meat Pie for dessert,Fritz had a little of both,only the pie crust as the pie has raisins in it.He is on Mom's lap,having some cookies.Had a friend of ours come by ,talked with Mom for a few minutes,Fritz was excited to see her,he then came bounding back to me for supper.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/dogsnack4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snugbug.JPG Fritz having cereal this morning and snug as a bug next to me covered in his paw print blanket.Last night,came up to my bedroom,made his bed, but he then went back to the kitchen to finish his supper,then came back to bed.Earlier in the night,he had been begging to go upstairs,thought he was tired,but it probably was that he was hungry.He has had his brakfast from both of us cuddled,next to me in his blanket,went to the window,followed Mom to the laumdry room where he grabbed a sock of mine and under the dining room table he went.Mom was making stew for supper,he come out,got a piece of roast Beef and I got the sock.He ended eating some more meat and some raw vegetables including carrots and and potatoes.He has just been looking for more but Mom had finished making the stew.Snow and 30 degrees right now,Thursday wet snow and 37,Saturday 37 and light snow,Sunday cold 18 degrees.

Had Dumplings today with Carrots and bits of Beef,Fritz had some, cleaned the palte right off,Had Pie for supper,he cleaned that too,also ate some of his own food.he is on the table wagging his tail time for water.I went to wash my hair tonight,so he thinks it is time to go out and he went out .Just gets out there and barks again,probably heard something.Before this he is in the window,once it was a couple walking by,man was wearing a hat,he didn't like it and another time it was four people going by with two dogs.Just got up on the back of the chair,talking and tail going,thought he was hungry,that wasn't hasn't gone near the food,probably wants to go up to the window,he is staying here,he will just bark.Now gone under the little couch to sleep.

He got up when I did this morning at 20 after 6 after hearing a little dog bark and he went to Mom's chair.When Mom came out he cuddled next to her,got his blanket and covered him.Fritz then came over with the blanket on and had the cereal,took the blanket,had his toast,has been out twice,heard kids and barked .He camer in and barked again,Now in the window.Tomorrow,he goes to the groomer and will see his buddies,the cats.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/peeryboy1.JPG Fritz peering out the front window this morning.He has had trouble with an itchy eat later,so Mom went up to Marlene's and she had something she used for Taffy and it has worked,it isn't itching now.yesterday,Mom ewent to pick him up and she touched a spot probably his hip and Fritz let out a squeal and now won't let Mom pick him up.We will tell the groomer about this so it doesn't happen again.He came up my bedroom.Fritz then wnet to the window,then came back,wanted up on the bed,didn't want me touching him and he went under the bed,whined a couple of times.He ended up coming out ,first sleeping on the floor then the bedspread .Ate his supper before bed last night,had all his breakfast today,been out twice and had a drink.When i took him to Mom, carried around his tummy so as not to hurt him.You can clearly see his new dogtag shining in the picture.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/tableboy1.JPG Fritz last night laying on his blanket on the coffee table.Fritz stayed down here with me for a short time before letting me know he wanted upstairs,so I let him up.He barked the odd time,most of the time it was nothing,once a car went in next door,he always thinks it is coming here and barks.Mom still wasn't home at 11:00 last night so i got ready for bed and waited in the chair in the living room and Fritz joined me.He came to bed with me,laye don the bedapread,the bed is too high for him to jump,think we should get some dogsteps so he can get on the bed.Around 12-12:30 this morning,Mom heard him go out to the living room,I didn't but he did return and slept on the bedspread.Had his breakfast,been out,cuddled in the chair with me and no wis in behind the chair,didn't jump in the window.Colder here this morning.Last night it was 38 and a little rain,this morning was 35 degrees at 20 to 7 and a gusty cold wind and by 20 after 7 it was 31 degrees,high today is 28.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/couchboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/prettyboy3.JPG Fritz this morning cuddling up tight to Mom and on her knee in her chair .I had meat on a bun for lunch,he is never quiet when I eat,he waves his paws and barks constantly ,never does this to Mom .For supper it was Penne pasta and deli sliced ham,Fritz liked that .Had Mccain's White Vanilla cake for dessert,he cleaned off plates.After this,had a big play with his Ducky and tired himself out and went to the window.Tonight he stayed upstairs while Mom came down here to watch People's Court.Got him down here with Iams dog biscuits,then begged for another,then a third.Now under the little couch,will come out when Mom gets a snack.
