Michigan is doing away with the old blue plate with white text. As such, when I renew my plate this month, they'll be issuing me a new plate with a random number.

So I figured I'd get a personalized plate. Problem is.... too many choices! :o

In the poll are my top 5 choices.

1. RAMANTH - This was the name of my imaginary friend/dragon as a child. When I first logged on to the internet in 1996, it became my first username/handle.

2. SANDGRL - Short for Cutest Sandgirl. This was a nickname given to me by some costuming friends about 6 years ago, since I was the only girl with a Tusken Raider (Sandperson) costume. This is a secondary username/handle I now use.

3. AVATAR8 - I'm a fan of the Nick show, Avatar the Last Airbender.

4. WTRBNDR - Short for Waterbender. A character from the Avatar show.

5. POSIBLE - Short for Kim Possible. A name many of the kids I've babysat for call me.

If there are any other suggestions, log on to: Plate It Your Way (http://services1.sos.state.mi.us/plates/papsteps.htm), choose 'Spectacular Peninsulas' and have fun. It will tell you if the plate has already been taken or not.

:)

I never knew what "Ramanth" meant ---
But that's the ONLY way I knew you for a few years ... Go with a Winner!

Now SandGrl would be great - if only there was room for the *I* so it looked better! :(

SandGirl would be a real Winner, too ... SandGrl is OK.

Hahaha, there seems to be a very clear winner here. But I agree with lbaker, now that I know who ramanth really is, I like it even better.

I like Ramanth since it was from your childhood, but I also like Posible..I think that is cool that the kids you babysit for call you that and I bet they will feel special if you choose that one. I voted for Posible!

But Kimmy ~~~ Be Prepared ... To "meet" a LOTTTA Coppers!
http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

Over the years, I've known a lot of Local, County Sheriffs, and even a few State Troopers ---
ALL with one thing in common when they were Young, Good Lookin, and SINGLE -
They'd *STALK* the Single Babes who were driving alone at night! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/eek.gif

I always wondered WHY the "Studs" stopped Soooo Many cars at night -
and WHY all their stops were for cars with FEMALE drivers and Personalized Plates.

Requirements were all similar >>>
* Cute Face
* NICE Hair
* WOW for "Packaging"
* Alone or with another "Babe" as a passenger
* Extra points (insuring a *STOP*) for a nifty Personalized Plate http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/wink.gif

If there were two of 'em working the shift,
Stud 2 would quickly announce "I'll back him up on that stop!"

First question after checking the Driver's License was always "Is it MISS or Mrs.?"
The answer usually determined how long the stop would take!

If things went well - they'd eventually ask "WHAT does your plate mean?"
They all admitted that sometimes the answer was a real *shocker* with a double or tripple meaning.

"Ramanth" otta perk someone's curiosity ... and you CERTAINLY fill the other "requirements" http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/wink.gif ...
keep your driver's license handy.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I agree with using Ramanth.
I had an imaginary dragon when I was a little kid, too. :) Just you mentioning yours in your post brought back alot of memories!

RAMANTH

And thanks for the link to Michigan's personalized plates. Wonder how long it has been available?

I got my personalized Michigan plate back in 1999. I once had a man follow me into a car wash to ask what it meant! The UPS and Fed Ex drivers wanted to know when they would pull into the driveway.

Mine says 1QUAHOG. Those from Rhode Island will know, for sure.

I echo the others.

:D

I don't think I'd get my screen name on my plates, becuase every person that would ask me what it means I'd have to tell them it stands for Poop In The Corner. :o

Broken record here, but I like Ramanth. I've always wondered where you got your screen name.

But not only did I learn that I learned what Angie's meant as well (what's the 9 for Angie? pitc9x's :eek: :p)

Personalized plates in my State cost an extra $50. I'm too cheap. My vote -- take what they give you and go out and buy $50 worth of pet toys!

It'll be here in around 30 days if approved. :)

Ouch! I'd think twice too about a personalized plate if it was that much here. Only cost me $13.
