Ha ha, I wish. :p I bought Barbie and Tanner in Wallyworld today. I didn't realize until I went online that Tanner actually eats and poops! Great , another dog to clean up after.

Unbelievable!
And I wondered when I bought her why the dog food and poop looked the same! :D

Enough already! I'm already jealous cause Barbie has so much cool stuff-- and now a cute little turquoise pooper scooper and lavender poop bucket??? I'll never catch up to that girl.... :( (we're about the same age, you know ;) How does she do it?)

The fact that the poop and the food are the same thing.

Oh, just wondered. Yeah, that is gross. :D I most likely won't even open the box for now anyways, just display it in the box. There's no where to set up all those little pieces, such as the uh, poop/food without the cats getting to them. ;)

The question is....why does he eat his poop? Have you had him in to the vet, that can indicate a serious problem! :p

This is an actual toy?!?! Too funny! Nice though. Maybe some kids will be more understanding when it comes to cleaning up after real dogs.

I'm making her an appointment! ;)

Yep. You feed the dog and then pump her tail and she poops.

I just realized(after reading the box) Tanner is a girl!!! You would have thought I could tell the difference by now!

LOL!! Good one!! So what is the pup's name??

Maybe you could stop the pup from eating it's own poo if you stopped putting it's poo in it's food bowl!!! LOL!!!! :D

1.) spayed? -or- 2.) neutered?
I'm with Anna - I keep coming back to have a giggle. :D

I couldn't stand it. Went to Ebay and found it for $22 with shipping! Seller mentioned that it may be recalled because the dog poops. I did find a recall but it wasn't for that, it was for the magnet.
http://reviews.ebay.com/RECALL-Barbie-Doll-and-Tanner-dog-Magnet-Hazard-Recall_W0QQugidZ10000000004210740
If you want one, better get one while you can. There's a few on Ebay and about three on Amazon.

chocolatepuppy
11-27-2007, 10:40 PM
Yeah Val, they're being recalled for a magnet on the poop scoop if I read correctly. So did you get it from ebay?

dukedogsmom
11-27-2007, 10:46 PM
Yeah, made sure that the seller was good. They had 100% good feedback. I may have to play with this one, though. It's mighty cute.

I don't usually visit the dog side - Rascal, Annie and Emma won't let me.

But they aren't in the room now, so I took a peek................and started laughing and laughing.

I will have to visit here more often.

(the poop and food are the same thing:p )

That's hysterical - I can just see the "pink" litter box and scooper.........I wonder if they could make the cat "spray" the furniture?

Hey Gini, here's the cat one I have.
http://www.amazon.com/Barbie-28612-Kitty-Fun/dp/B000054A92

And gross! I didn't think of the poop being the same as the food. Oh well, some dogs do eat poop so I guess it's realistic;)

Hopefully Rascal, Annie and Emma will accept marshmellow, they may get a kick out of you having to squeeze out the pee :D

I see the litter box... but does the cat eat and poop/poop and eat too?

Wow! I was on my cell when I posted the link and didn't look at the prices for the two available. Apparently, it's quite valuable. I haven't even broken the seal on the one I have. So, as hard as it will be, I guess I'll leave the dog one in it's package, too. But I want to play!

Thanks for such a fun thread :D

I can't stand it! This whole thing is just too funny. AND you want me to spend $50.00 so I can fill up a plastic cat with water - and then squeeze it out of her?

Thanks - I have three - but none of them (thank God) need to be squeezed to release their liquid.

And to think someone sits there and comes up with this stuff and gets PAID FOR IT.

I am just lovin' this thread! I think it should be voted for one of the best of 2007. Gini, you're cracking me up. At least you know your cats don't retain water :p I didn't know they still sold the kitty one at Wal Mart. Or was that the dog one? I'll have to look tonight when I go on break.

I am thinking this toy (toy???) could be a great gift for my little niece.

My younger brother does not like cats - so I am always putting my little niece up to asking her Papa for a kitty. My brother knows I am behind it - and he always groans............

Can you just imagine if I gave her this for Christmas? Barbie isn't particularly welcome at their house either - let alone her pooping dog and peeing cat!

dukedogsmom
11-29-2007, 03:35 AM
Yes I went on my break and yes, it's now unpacked. It's so cute! There's no way you could get it and not play. I'm going to take some pics in a bit here. Barbie brings her dog to work. When you push the tail down, Tanner tilts her head. Reminds me so much of Dasher because he does that a lot. This is one of the best toys ever :D

I forgot to put this up. I took the pics the night I got it. Here's Barbie teaching Tanner how to open up the garbage can. Smart dog! I had a lot of fun amusing myself. I put the teddy bear on Tanner's back :) Thanks for such a fun thread!

This is too funny. And I noticed that Marshmallow uses Fresh Step litter, too; no generic for Barbie's kitty! (I wonder if she uses clay or clumping?) I am still chuckling over a little girl squeezing kitty and then scooping the box. Kids, if you reeeeeeeally want to do that, you can come to my house and you won't even have to squeeze the cat first. LOL, ROFL!

So now when we see strange little girls cranking dogs tails and the dogs crying out in pain and fright, we know what the deal is, right?? And here we always blamed the parents for these weird things their kids do..... NO..... it's Barbie with her freaky ideas!

I will have to mention this to my Dog Lover Friends at the Library, they will enjoy how realistic Toys are getting when you have Toy Pets who need cleaning up after.
Thats as lute says a way of teaching young potential Pet Guardians that Pets are not all fun and games!!

Thanks Krista and Joyce. Jake is 6 1/2 months old. He gets his sutures out today, I'll see what he weighs. I don't think he'll make the 40-45 lbs, but only time will tell. ;) Pictures coming soon. :D
