I don't know much about her. Some celebrities and wealthy folks use their position to help and support a certain cause. Has she done anything along those lines? That would more relevant, I should think.

I don't know much about her either...
I just think she has a look about her that can't be trusted. She's using their child as a pawn in the divorce (but that happens a lot now days!)

who is reportedly seeking millions of dollars in her breakup with Paul McCartney, denounced the world's rich as misers and snobs Wednesday.

Mills McCartney said she was reluctantly obliged to befriend the world's wealthy because that was the only way to maximize her power as an agent for change.
Sadly, you have to mix at a certain level of people to raise the level of funds you need to bring about the greater good," she said. "Because people are very snobby. These people who have lots of money, they're either snobby or they're stingy. If you have lots of money, you have to be stingy because why would you want that amount of money?"

yea - Phred she might just have to live on 'Ol Roy!!! :o

Mills and McCartney met at a charity function. She was giving her time and money to worth while causes long before Paul met her.

From Wilkipedia

Animal rights
Mills has been actively involved with the Britain's leading vegetarian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarianism), vegan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veganism) and animal rights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_rights) organisation, Juliet Gellatley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juliet_Gellatley)'s Viva! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva%21). She is also involved with Gellatley's Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarian_and_Vegan_Foundation).[8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-7) Mills became a patron to both organisations in 2005. In 2006 she attended, along with Gellatley, a debate on fur at the Oxford Union. When Mills was speaking she gave a prearranged signal to her sister Fiona who stood up, faced the audience and turned on the body TV which had been hidden under her coat. It showed a dog being skinned alive and its piercing screams of agony shrieked out into the hall; Mills reacted with tears.[9] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-8) Mills joined a team from Viva! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva%21) to film at a pig farm in Somerset (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somerset) in February 2007.[10] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-9) This was to publicize the use of restrictive farrowing crates (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Farrowing_crates&action=edit), used for sows who are suckling piglets. A video of the investigation is available on the Internet.[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-10)

In March 2006, Mills and McCartney ventured to eastern Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada) to bring attention to the country's annual seal hunt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seal_hunt). Sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humane_Society_of_the_United_States), they claimed the hunt was inhumane and called on the Canadian government to put it to an end. Their arrival on the floes sparked much attention in Newfoundland and Labrador (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newfoundland_and_Labrador) where 90% of the sealers live. Due to the intense media attention, Newfoundland and Labrador (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newfoundland_and_Labrador)'s Premier Danny Williams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Williams_%28politician%29) debated them on Larry King Live (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_King_Live).[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-11)

Mills also campaigns against the trade in dog fur (which is often passed off as fur from other animals), and particularly the live skinning of dogs. She posed with her dog, in an anti-fur advertisement for a PETA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PETA) campaign, which had the catchline: "If you wouldn't wear your dog, please don't wear fur" campaign.[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-12)

However, a video has come to light[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-13) of Mills wearing a mink coat she owned and wrote about in her autobiography; the video was taken in 1989, years before being involved in animal rights or vegetarianism. Mills has stated that "It's only since I met Paul [McCartney] that I really got to understand how vegetarianism not only benefits your health massively but also makes a huge difference to the planet, to animals and to feeding the world."[15] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-14)

Mills became involved with Animal Rights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Rights) group PETA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_for_the_Ethical_Treatment_of_Animals) through McCartney, who had been involved with them for years prior. Since the couple's divorce, it is alleged that she has been dropped by PETA over her controversial behavior and because McCartney's daughter Mary refused to continue her work with the organization unless it cut ties with Mills.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)] However, this is unsubstantiated by any major news network, but rather the mainstream press says that she was dropped "because the zealot organization doesn't want to offend her ex, longtime PETA supporter Paul McCartney."[16] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-15)[17] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-16) A PETA representative had told the New York Post (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Post) that "Heather's exposé of the Chinese fur industry remains one of most popular videos on our site...although we don't have any imminent campaigns planned with her."[18] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-17) [19] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-18)

In November 2007 she spoke out at Hyde Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyde_Park) in Central London arguing that people should turn vegan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegan) as livestock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Livestock) create far more carbon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon) emissions than transport. "There are many other kinds of milk available" she said. "Why don't we try drinking rats' milk and dogs' milk? Eighty per cent of global warming comes from livestock and deforestation. I'm not telling people to go vegan overnight. But if they stop drinking their cows' milk lattes, maybe this sort of thing won't have to happen." [20] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mills#_note-19)

Now having said that, I still think that her cornbread is still doughy in the center. I dont like her, and never had. She can take that foot opf hers, and shove it where the sun dont shine. She has more money than she needs!! She just needs to grow up, and admit herself into the nearest looney bin!!

As much as I love the Beatles music I think living with Paul would be extremely difficult. Since he has been a teenager Paul has been worshipped and adored. No one ever says NO to him. If anyone has read about him he treated his stepmum and half sister terrribly. They were even homeless. I also think that following in Linda's footsteps was very difficult. I am not saying that Heather did not make mistakes but Sir Paul is used to having his way. It was just a bad match, neither is a bad person, they are just too different.

I feel sorry for Heather. A while back I saw the infamous interview with her on GMTV (I think it was that...), and I felt for her, big time. Seeing your face on the front page every day entitled with 'What a witch, b!tch, etc,' whilst going through something as stressful as a divorce must be awful. She must be pretty tormented to be reduced to tears on TV, I doubt she's that good at acting.

Paul can go anywhere he likes and will be adored, whilst if she steps foot out her house she is subject to abuse. She devoted a heck of a lot of time to charity, and she's seen as the bad person. It's the media whipping up a frenzy as always. The lyrics of Kaiser Chief's 'Angry Mob' song come to mind. ;)

If I had a celebrity lifestyle (how I wish :p ), I'd demand more money too. I wouldn't let my ex take control like that so that he could finally dispose of me.

Don't always believe what you read.

A lot of times people will twist the truth just to get a good story. In all honesty not many people enjoy reading about happily ever afters and clean divorces in the news.

Sorry...this story irritates me. She is married to him (and rather quickly had a baby...) for what..a couple of years? And $50 million is not enough? Did she help him earn that money? If not, why is she entitled to it? And she is angry because she cannot write a tell all book.

She is the kind who gives women a bad name. :( :( :(

And if you don't like the publicity...stay the heck off all the tv shows!! Is there not something...well silly at best...about going on tv shows and complaining about all the media attention???

Box of frogs indeed!

Being a Beatlephile, I can tell you that Macca's stepmum and stepsister used Paulie's dad to get moola. If they went homeless, they did it to themselves. They lived fine until James McC died. If they had treated his father well while he was ill, do you honestly think Paul wouldn't have helped them...

Unfortunately Paul doesn't pay me to defend him... :( :(

I believe Paul's dad and step-mum were married for over 20 years and he was a bit older then her. She nursed him and took care of him and to all written accounts I have read did a fine job. If Paul thought his dad was mistreated he could have hired a private duty nurse to help out. Having them loose the house and being homeless is inexcusable. The man is worth a billion dollars. He treated them badly.
