Thought I'd warn everyone!

Seems there is a new spam/virus out there.

One of your contacts can message you with this -

is this too kinky for myspace? I dont think so.

(Link folder will be here for you to click)

DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK!

Your contacts can even be offline while doing this so you'll know it's fake.

Keep your msn's safe! :D

Also does anyone know how to avoid or stop these spam/virus's?

I've never had a message like this in months??

Just don't click the link, or open any emails with that subject.

Hey, that virus is also in Belgium  ! The text is in Dutch heren but it means the same!
This type of virus is very hard to detect; it is called a "trojan"

I was stupid to open it, so it went to all friends on my buddylist... . But we could detect the virus rather fast (well, the anti-virus program did).
Ours is called "CA Security Center"

Download AVG Free Edition, and set it up to scan your computer once a day.

If you can pay some $$, try Kaspersky or Trend Micro. Each has a 30 day free trial. Both check for Adware - which makes a back door for tracing your surfing habits.

Spybot Search and Destroy is good and free. Careful - there is another one that looks a lot like the same name...but charges money!

Spam? PM me and I can pass on some tips that help! Too long to add here.

OMG! No wonder! I have been receiving a message from some of my contacts constantly. The message is a link to a website called clickforu or something like that. I remember accepting a file from DH's nephew, it said "check out these pictures of me before I put them on MySpace". I guess that's why I am getting all this spam. One of my contacts says her MSN account was stolen, and when the person logs in, they send me loads of spam.

Thanks for letting us know, I will definately run a scan now. =]
