Yesterday, everyone's favorite, Josh got his first adult cat bath in the tub proper instead of those kitten baths in the kitchen sink like we used to do.

Here's Josh all clean, fluffy and good smelling.

They're all gorgeous but Josh will always be my favorite. I bet they all feel extra soft now and smell wonderful too.:) So which cat is the easiest to bathe?

Josh is just stunning. All of your kitties are so pretty! Pooky looks not too amused in his picture about having been bathed and groomed, lol. Annoyed is a closer look to that face, lol. Cami, what a gorgeous, gorgeous girl she is! She just looks like an absolute sweethearted cat, with those lovely eyes and such nice tabby markings in her coat. Give them all a big hug and kissies for me! They are just too sweet!!

The Last Cat Who Was Bathed Here Was Moose Angel As His Skin Was Dry And My Vet Brought A Shampoo Over , And While The Moose Was Iniatally Happy, When He Dried Out, He Was Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!!!!!!
Thats Wonderful That You Bathed All Three Cats And Those White Cats Are Almost Glowing In Thier Cleaness!!
A Job Well Done, Very Well Done Indeed.

Yeah sometimes they are if I'm not looking closely. And the fact they both have 4 letter names starting with J makes me mess up when I'm yelling at them, kinda comes out like 'Jash' LOL

JOSH:
never actually meows he just makes this meeooouuuurr sound all the time.
has a smaller face.
has a less fluffy tail.
has more of a 'bib' of fur around his neck.
is a bit smaller and stockier (9 lbs vs 11 lbs)

JACK:
doesn't talk often but when he does it sounds like a kitten mewing
has a small nick in his left ear
larger poofy tail
larger face
has a full neck 'ruff'

So which cat is the easiest to bathe?

Well since I haven't given Sassy & Sabrina their adult bath yet I can't be sure (although I don't expect the torties to be easy by any means). However I'd have to say either Jack or Pooky are the easiest. Once you get them wet they just kinda stay in the tub. Although I do have one of those suction cup leash things but couldn't use it with Josh he's not leash/collar trained yet. I had to bathe him one handed so I could hold his front legs up, seemed to make him more likely to stay in the tub. I did get quite wet and the bathroom was a mess doing him.

Thank you, while I'm no pro groomer I didn't think they turned out too bad.
I used to pay for a groomer to do my kitties until a few years ago they wouldn't do cats anymore. The other groomer I tried didn't get Jack as white as he should have been and they didn't get any of the cats really dry or brush them out and for that I had to pay $25 per shorthair and $30 per longhair!! It was FAR cheaper to buy the stuff and do them myself.

As for having my limbs intact none of them so far have ever tried to bite me while bathing and they seem more interested in getting out of the tub than inflicting any damage.

Most of the cats I can bathe separately, however there's one exception. Jack HATES the blow drier with a horrible passion and tries to bite the hose, takes swats at it and growls up a storm. The solution was that I bathe him, towel dry him and let him sit in the bathroom while I bathe Pooky (dunno why that combo works) then when I blow dry Pooky I let some of the air hit Jack and he doesn't seem to mind that because the hose isn't pointed directly at him. Jack won't let me blow dry his back legs, base of tail or groin area though, those have to air dry.
