I want to apologize that I wasn't posting much during the last months.

These are no easy times for me and my girls (even though I don't think my girls know...). As some of you may remember, I dealt with health problems in the past (and still do), and a difficult job situation, and now I have lost my job for the winter, and my entire future is uncertain, especially as the costs for many things are still rising in Germany, and it's going on and on. It's only a question of time that I lose my home, and my old car. Was already told that I cannot affort anymore to have a cat like Luna, who always has special medical needs...

As you can imagine, looking at my most beloved girls, who have no idea in what situation we are, breaks my heart. They are so trustful and probably believe I could protect them from any harm. But the future is so scary!!

Anyway, as I wasn't posting for a while, I thought you may enjoy some new pictures of Luna and Lily; most of them were taken when I got a birthday present from a friend. As you can see, the girls love packages! ;)

Some Lily close ups, and Lily enjoying the new package:

I am so happy to see your girls. I'm sorry to hear about your financial situation though. Is there not somewhere you can apply for the winter? Maybe if you got a winter job it would end up better than your regular one and they'd keep you all year? (It's wishful thinking on my part for you to have a job that appreciates you!)

Again, I have missed you and I am so happy to see your beautiful girls. Sending you good wishes.

Oh Kirsten, I do hope that things will change for the better really soon!! You and your kitties deserve to live in peace and not have to worry.

I'll be thinking and praying about you and your lovely girls. Keep your chin up and don't lose courage. We're all here for you, even if across the ocean. We'll try to help where we can. I'm sure others feel the same way.

Many hugs to you sweetie! Take care of yourself and give the girls some hugs and kissies from me as well!

I also keep my fingers crossed that you find a new job soon.
Luna and Lily have confidence in you because they know you will make it.
And they look like very happy and beautiful cat ladies :)

Kirsten, it's good to see you and the girls, and what lovely pictures!

Luna does look a little sad on some - probably because her mom lost her job. So sorry about that. :( Try temp. agencies and also put your CV out on one the databases.

Good luck! :)

Gary, that is soooo true!!!

I thank you all for your kind words, your encouragement, and your offer to help when help is needed. You're the best!! :)

Well, luckily Luna didn't have any episodes of UTI or struviute stones lately, and I hope this will last for a while.

I hope something good will come around, but when you see the news here, it's not very encouraging. I'd never thought life could be this tough, even though I was never spoiled, and never needed much for myself.

The girls are gorgeous and you always take wonderful pictures.:) I still think that you should try to freelance and sell some of your work. You never know it could turn into a new career and I know that you enjoy photography.;) I sure hope that things will get better for you very soon. Kristen, you have a marketable talent photographing cats with the stunning photo's you post here. You could go in the pet photgraphy business! (I have always wondered why you didn't) Why don't you give that a try, put together a book of the ones you have taken of your girls to show..

The girls look as lovely as ever and as usual, you do a great job with that camera!

I am so sorry to hear about your troubled times, I hope things clear up and good times come your way soon!

I was just about to suggest that myself. I, for one, will light a candle for you to bring the perfect job your way. And thanx for sharing the pix. They're wonderful!

I thank you very much for your comments, and for your prayers. I hope the girls do not know or perceive how worried and frustrated I am, it won't be good for them.

As for taking photos professionally... Things like these are not easy it Germany. I don't see a way to make this happen.
