He is ADORABLE!!!!! Just love the coloring and ears!

And if I recall, didn't you post a question about cleaning his ears about a month ago?

I've been to our vet since then (4 of my 5 are lops) and she recommended regular ear cleaning every 6-8 wks at first, and then iy may not have to be done as often as the bun gets older.

She uses a product called Oticlear, which is an over the counter ear cleaner for dogs, but she said was safe for buns. She squirts some of that in, rubs the ear gently in a circular motion and then uses surgical cotton swabs( (about 8 inches long, cotton only on one end) to get the wax out. I hope you can find a similar product over there. If the wax gets built up it can cause ear infections and related problems.

Hope this helps you some even though I'm so very late getting back to you. Good luck!!! ;)

thanks, we've been useing tweezers and Q-tips to get them out but he doesn't like that at all.so i'm gonna take him to the et and see if i can get anythhing.i wonder if human earwax rermover would work?(my brother has loads of it:) )i don't think so...

HHHmmm,,,,,, I think I'd ask your vet about the dog ear cleaner rather than the people cleaner.....

My vet said it's a solution of oils and alcohol to soften the ear wax, which allows the wax to be removed and the solution will also dry quickly and not keep the inner ear damp, which is bad. And yes, I think I would object to someone cleaning my ears with tweezers ;) ;) ;) so I understand why Cadbury doesn't like it either, heh-heh-heh!!!!!

Good luck solving this problem!
