AS THIS IS ABOUT 30 YERAS AGO AS I WAS STILL LIVING NEAR THAT MALL.
AND THEY WERE RAISING MONEY FOR TIGERS SO FOR 20 DOLLARS I SAT WITH ABABY TIGER. HIS PURRRR WAS THE LOUDEST I HAVE HEARD UNTIL THE MOOSE.
HE WAS ABOUT 40 POUNDS, 6 WEEKS OLD AND FRIENDLY. I GOT A WET LICK ON MY FACE!!!
UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENSE THIS WAS!!!

I did that in a mall in St Catharines! About 1987 or so.

They stopped that touring after a time, as the baby wild animals understandably had to be sedated to be handled by the public. I kind of agree - but it was an unforgettable educational experience!

Wow, what a beauty! (you too, Gary! ;) )

That must have been an awesome experience to be that "up close & personal" with nature.

Oh wow, I would pay 20 dollars or more to hold that beautiful cat. You are so lucky, no wonder it would be an awesome memory:)

I was thinking Leopard as well.

Oh and Gary? What's that funny stuff on your head! :D :p

I can well imagine that was an experience to always remember. Of course the photo helps, but still. What a great thing!

At todays prices it would probably cost $40 to hold that cat but I would want to hold it, even at that price!! Nice seeing you in your younger years!

Honestly Gary, it does look more like a leopard than a tiger.

Regardless, you were so lucky to be able to hold this adorable majestic cat and to get a lick on the face to boot. ADORABLE!!!!

Now That You Mention It, Thats Probably A Leopard As I Hadnt Seen That Photo In Years And They Promised A Wild Baby , And The Tiger Cub May Have Been Busy With Another Patron At The Time.
And I Actually Still Have The Funny Stuff On My Head Its Just Whiter And Sparser.
I Am Glad I Dont Have Bald Spots, I Would Have My Head Shaved If I Did.
