Anyone know any *good* sites (no spam/virus filled/ or trojan horse sites)

for free ringers onto a cell phone?

OR

I don't know if this is possible. Is there a way to download songs off a CD to your phone as a ringer?
THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE... :D

It is possible, that's what I did with my phone. Does your phone have Bluetooth? If it does you should be able to get a song from your computer to your phone.

Um, yeah - you hafta read the directions! But yes, that can be done with certain phones. Paul has done it for a client.

if your phone can read mp3 or wav files then you can definately get your own music on there. I simply use the mp3s on my computer and plug my phone into the computer and copy them onto the memory card of my phone. I currently have a small memory card (micro sd of 128 mb) but can fit about 20 songs on it. My main ringtone is 'All That I'm Living For' by Evanescence and I have a bunch of personal ringtones as well as my message alert being a mp3 by Lacuna Coil. :)

I love it.

Does your phone have a "record audio" button? It should be in the menu somewhere. You can just push that to record a song that's playing and then you can use those for ringtones.

I gave the link for only MP3 ringtones.

Here is the correct link (http://gallery.mobile9.com/c/ringtones/)

It shouldn't matter what type of phone you have for the ringtones. You just need to click the folder you want ie: Rock & Pop and just above it there is a dropdown menu that says please choose: Download Ringtones. Click the download ringtones and it gives you the different types ie: MP3, MIDI, Cingular, Nextel, Real, Sprint, Verizon & WAV. Pick whatever you phone plays and you can either browse or type in a band or artist name in the keyword.
