If anyone here is good with science, please read! I have a science project I need to do on elements. My element is Nickel. This is where I need the help. I can't find what family the Nickel belongs to and how much 1 gram costs. If you can find a website with the imformation on it, please post it.

Thank you so much for reading this!

Spot price for nickel is here:

http://www.metalprices.com/FreeSite/metals/nickelalloy/nickelalloy.asp

Prices are in $US/pound, so you're going to have to do the math on the weights.

General information:

Also was going to ask whether your school library has any reference books on the elements (being a school librarian, I ask these things, lol). We have a really good new set in my school library that deals with one or two elements in each book.

I know some school libraries are in poor shape... we aren't given much money. Your public library may be of some help as well. Ours here in Allentown is really good (even though their funding has been cut... they've gotten rid of a bunch of jobs).
