http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/rainydog.JPG Frotz out in the rain this morning,he had to go to do his thing,then back in where it was dry,he got a little wet.Fritz went to bed with Mom,He finished his supper first,went to the window,then went to Mom.Around 10 to 2 this morning Mom got up to go to the washrom,Fritz got up and was standing in the hall,Mom wasn't going to chase him.Fritz came to me and slept with me the rest of he night.Had toast and cereal with me toast from Mom,now in window,been getting his fix at barking at the kids,they have umbrellas a sit is pouring rain,won't get anything done today,still sniffling a bit,Larry feeling a little bit better.Apologize for the picture quality,raining and dark out, tried brightening a bit,helped a little.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozynap.JPG Fritz having a cozy nap on the bed late today.Mom has been to Hospital gift shop,now has gone to play cards.My Nephew Jason called,their Golden Retriever Austin is not in good shape,his red blood cell count is down and might have a tumor,his time on Earth may be at an end soon.He is about 12 years old.Mom talked to Irene,doesn't have to see any doctors for 4 months,no tests of any kind.Fritz barking up a storm upstairs,does this all the time,sometimes nothing there at all.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/warmytime.JPG Fritz keeping Mom's lap warm this morning.he stsayed upstairs when Mom was playing cards,barked the odd time,once was for going outside,I told he was a good boy for letting me know.Later on I checked him,he was sleeping on the bed,waiting for Mom to come,it was almost 11.He couldn't go up fast enough when Mom was ready to go,he beat her there.Mom got up before he did,he mus thave heard put down the tray my bowl was on,he came out had that,had a bit of toast,went to the window,had toast with Mom,had one last bite of mine,was on the couch with mom.He then went out and is now in the window where he just been barking at 4 kids waiting for the bus.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/eatsy.JPG Fritz this morning waiting for Mom to give him some toast.He already had sat up for me for toast and cereal.Last night,I had Ice Cream Bar,snuck down her,so Fritz couldn't get it,somehow,he heard me anyway and was sitting at the top of the stairs,maybe thinking I was coming up with it..Then we had a snack of cheese and some bread that had nuts in it,he had that,had to go out,then had a drink,then under the couch .Fritz went to the window first,then to Mom,got up after she did and had breakfast from each of us,barked at kids or the neighbor next door,thinks someone is coming here.Now quietly laying in the window.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fritzflipper.JPG Fritz flipped in Mom's chair today.Before going to dinner tonight,Jason and his boy Ryan dropped by,Fritz barked as soon as heard Jason,had to put him in his cage,afraid he might scratch Ryan if he jumped up at him .Barb(Jason's wife) and daughter Lauren stayed home,a little down after Austin's passing.Jason already looking at getting another dog probably the same breed.They had gotten Austin in October of 1997,a month after getting married.The roast beef Dinner was good.had roast beef,Baked potato.Carrots,Squash,,coleslaw,a little vinegary and buns.All kinds of pies,i had Puimpkin and a piece of Chocolate cream Pie,forgot to bring Fritz home some,he did some of his.He has been out twice,had water, a little of his food,and talked to both Mom and me about soemthing,grabbed a kleenex and is now under the couch,also spent timr under the covers of the same couch earlier.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toastywait.JPG Fritz waiting for toast this morning.fritz was under the couch last night,Mom had a snack that had the taste of Sour cream and onions,fritz came out,didn't want it.he went out twice,had his fresh water,goes to the top of the chair to lay down then under the couch.Has his toast and cereal from mom.Had his water dish filled twice,makwes a game of trying to catch him so he has to go out.he finally did go out.he had been in Mom's lap then mine.Found out out yesterday that Larry has Gallstones,still waiting on blood tests and what that will show.The procedure for the procedsure are simple,go in and get it done and out the same day.The kids didn't bother Fritz this morning,never heard him bark.

It's really getting chilly there isn't it Fritz? I wish you would send some of the cool weather down here :) It's a little cooler but not that much.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sprawlerboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/layabout.JPG Fritz sprawled out on the couch late Wednesday afternoon and laying at the foot of the stairs,had it blocked so he couldn't get upstairs,as Mom would be at the door handing out candy to kids.The doorbells were turned off but still heard them come and would bark every time he heard them.Sometimes he would just lay ther like in the picture or in the doorway to the rec room.We had 32 kids at the door some little ones and older ones,all were polite and said thank you,one said have a good weekend.Fritz ended up on the back of my chair staring at Mom who was on the phone,wanting to go to bed.They did shortly after,he stayed close to her all night.Had is toast and cereal as usual,then had a blitz around the living room,throwing toys around,then went out and ,come in and had a drink,then to Mom.Had the doorbells turned off,turned them back on,he thinks someone is here and into the barking he got.

It sounds like you had a great Halloween there Fritz. We only had 4 kids here. The girls dressed up but hardly anyone saw them. Delilah was a sunflower, in honor of our Belgian sunflowers from Lut, and Daisy was a spider, in honor of her only toy. :) I wish we could see one of your blitzes buddy!! Great pics Barry! :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/bosompal.JPG My pal Fritz this morning looking at me from the front window.Last night,he decided to have a snooze under the blanket of the little couch.When it came time for Mom to go up.Fritz crawled out from under the covers and followed Mom up.Marlene had to go the hospital last night,blood count was down to 2.2 ,a level where someone could go into a diabetic coma.She had to stay there until it went up,she is fine now,probably worrying Larry and his operation coming up,she had been given a new medication,might have been what caused it.Fritz cuddled up right close to Mom all night.I got up around 7,Fritz came out and layed across my lap for about 20 minutes before I could get breakfast.he had some cereal and toast from me,toast from Mom,had to go out,has a little run around the living room before heading out.Fritz now laying in Mom's chair in the living room.

Barry, what is mince meat pie made of? I've never had it but I saw someone making it the other night on tv. However, I'm not sure what the usual ingredients are. This guy was putting some chopped up pork in his. Is it good and what does it taste like?

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/backyboy.JPG Fritz flipped over on his back this afternoon.Fritz had been snoozing in the chair with mom,got warm and layed on the carper.Around 3:15,he sits in frong of mom begging for supper,then gets closer,laying down and growling,then stood with front paws on the chair,Mom peeking at them,then Mom got dinner.We had Kraft dinner and wieners,Fritz liked it,had a little,I had Mincemeat Pie.Mom had a piece of Date loaf.Fritz runs around 2 or 3 times before going out,he barked at a kid with a hooded sweater,then kids with helmets on riding bikes,doesn't like people going by wearing hats.I cleaned one ladies lawn,she is 88 then ours 3 paper bags full of leaves,virtually none of them ours,neighbor across the street doesn't pick his up and they blow over on our side on the lawn ,the driveway and around to the back.Some area in Ontario got snow,North of Toronto in Barrie and Newmarket,here we got Ice Pellets,it was doing that when I was out cleaning up leaves,not very pleasant but it had to be done.

Wow, Fritz, look at you, before and after the groomer's! You are such a handsome boy!

This is the big thing I LOVE about bichons. You look at a photo of bichons at a breed show, and they all look exactly the same. They all have the "show" cut, which we mere pet owners wouldn't possibly cope with! But give them a trim and each one looks different! There are SO many different cuts for the bichon -- puppy cut, teddy bear, scruffy dog look; the list is quite long. (There is even a poodle cut; I can't figure out WHY a bichon would want to masquerade as a poodle!) I like your cut, Fritz; quite manly!

She had got talking to Marlene ,Marlene had a dream that Larry brought home a Retriever puppy and in the dream was looking for it,we all got a laugh out of it.I was just talking to Shannon,everybody is good,Samantha had to go the clinic on the weekend,had Pink Eye and Diarhrrea,she is fine now.They still have candy from Halloween,Brandyn was into it while we were talking,Shannon told him to stop ,it would spoil dinner.They arre supposed to be going to the Toronto Santa Claus Parade on Sunday,the kids will enjoy it.Our Parade is Saturday,I will probably go,not sure about Mom,if it is warm enough,I will get pictures like last year.Shannon is going on a shopping trip the States next week during the Thanksgiving holiday with Brian's two sisters and his Mom.On December 7 ,Brian and Shannon are going to the Air Canada Center in Toronto to see Bon Jovi in concert.Auntie Bev feeling pretty good,her doctor is away for a week,told to go to a clinic, couldn't all were busy.She will talk to her doctor next week about this.What was the point in sending her there if no one could see her.Has stopped taking the medication that caused it.Mom going ther first week of December with a friend to the Walden Galleria in Buffalo shopping for the day,it is another bus trip..Mom now goneout to play cards,Frtz was herewith me,wanted up,first thing he did up there was bark at a Husky going by,he never has liked the Huskies these people walk by.

Barry, I really like the 3 pictures in the middle from your post yesterday morning! Fritz, you are such a camera ham! It makes me smile every time I think of you waiting for toast! And, Barry, I hope your cousin's wife is doing better. We have a lot of raking to do around here too. There is one big maple tree that still has a lot of leaves on the branches. Each fall it's the last one to show color change and then the last one with leaves when other trees are already bare. In the parking lot at work I saw ginkgo leaves, but I don't remember seeing a ginkgo tree. I'll have to look more closely in the spring.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/armnap.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/twiglights.JPG Fritz cuddled the arm of the chair this morning and last night in the window.Mom and i were trying to see if the light were working.The ones under the front window were and on the front step,the ones in the north flowerbed weren,t power bar wasn't working,Mom gone to get a new one.Fritz didn't go,too cold,won't wear a coat, a dig beside me was in a lady's lap shivering.Some one from the parade was giving out dog treats,biscuits,he took it.A lady coming to watch the parade tripped on the sidewalk and rolled her ankle,Police called for a Paramedic who then took her to the hospital just up the street,probably a sprained ankle.The guys with no shirts on were from the Clarington Swim Club.I assume they were in a tub of some sort in the back of the truck steam was coming out.Fritz went to bed with me last night,right tight,almost pushing me out of the bed again,all fours in the air,I couldn't sleep so got up at 20 to 6.I came down to the computer for a few minutes,I then came up,fritz the chair,I think I scared him,he couldn't see me in the dark and ran under the dining room table.Had his cereal and toast from me,went out,came back and had a drink.Maybe he should have gone to the parade,barked at people going by,barked the elephant and other zoo animals that went by the house,mom wasn't impressed and he later tried to get a piece of onion from a piece of pizza off her plate,mom didn't like that.had brunch after church, scrambled eggs,omelettes,greek salad,danishes,muffins,breakfast sausage all kinds of good things to eat.no hurry for supper tonight.Mom bought the new power bar and all the lights work.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cuddledog.JPG Fritz cuddled on mom's knee this morning and under the dining room table with my boot,he just did it again not long ago,saw him carry it under .As soon as he saw pull last night,he barked and went to the back door with Mom.Didn't come down at first,did eventually.Went up when I did and he ended up with Mom.I done our leaves plus another lady who is 88 years old.I also did the vacuuming with our new Vacuum,a Shark Roadster,light on the front of it,does a great job picking up dirt.Had Pizza for lunch,shared with Fritz.Had Potatoes,Turnip and Pork chops for supper,Fritz cleaned plated,had Rice Pudding for dessert,Fritz had the Rice part of both of ours.After supper,Fritz goes in a complete circle through the living room the kitchen and back to the livingroom begging for me to let him outside.Last i saw of him,he had my boot under the table.The picture with Fritz with the boot will have to wait,something with Fileden,the photo sharing site I am on.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/tugboy.JPG Fritz and Mom having a little tugging session with his Monkey this afternoon.Had a frozen Pizza for supper,should have heard Fritz when Mom was cutting in pieces,he was whining.he got a little from both of us,then we had Lemon Meringue pie for dessert.cleaned that as well.Had a play with the Monkey after supper,got tired and got on Mom's knee,got a video of it,putting on youtube tomorrow.After a snooze in the window,Fritz is now snoozing under the couch down here.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lazybud.JPG Here is my Lazy Buddy Fritz snoozing in the chair.When he wasn't eating outside or in the window,this is what he did today.Mom left at 5:45 this morning catch the bus to Buffalo.We all were up early,maybe why Fritz snoozed a lot.I had a meat sandwich,deli meat which Fritz liked.I had a Turkey TV dinner,he liked that too,had Lemon Meringue pie for dessert,he cleaned all the plates.Marlene just phoned,Mom had called them from the bus to let them know they were getting close to where they were picked up and Larry and Marlene have gone to pick her and Mom's friend Doreen up.Fritz has been barking up a storm,mainly at nothing,outside barking now.There is a winter storm watch out here,snow,freezing rain and plain rain,we will what happens if it gets her.I have to go now and get Fritz to come in,barking outside.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/eatyboy.JPG Fritz eating cereal this morning.Not a good day to outsid eher,4 inches of snow, a little freezing rain,rain and now freezing rain again so I stayed home and didn't go to the hockey game.Shoveled four driveways including ours,a lot of hard work.Fritz loves the snow,goe out to the patio where there are two big piles of it.Had Meat Pies and Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert,Fritz had a bit of both.Probably slept when I was out,had a little play tonight with his Monkey.Fritz now sitting on back of the chair,Mom gone for a snack.

It's still pretty warm down here. Actually, the last few days have been hot and muggy. Ready for a little cooling off tomorrow :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/bluenap.JPG Fritz napping on the blue blanket this morning.Fritz was all over my bed trying to find a good spot to snooze,he did during the night,under the covers he slept,don't know how long.Had his cereal and toast,been out,barking a kids,barking again right now,a teacher and her class from the nearby Catholic School just walked by,some had hoods on,he didn't like that.He has just gone out again,he loves being out in the snow,cold don't bother,he has two layers of fur.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/blurboy.JPG Fritz going so fast with his Monkey,he is in a blur.Had a couple of plays with it after supper,got with me on the couch,had some buns from us at supper,not the Chili,too messy,he would get a dirty face.Earlier Fritz had grabbed Mom's scarf,then tried to grab her purse.Mom has gone to gift shop,Fritz in the weindow ,all lit up.Mom has a thing to to tonight,somwething to do with Hospital Volunteers.Tomorrow night,we are going to a Memorial service being put on by the funeral home that had dad's service,it is at our church.This us for people of all denominations who have lost loved ones recently.
