Boy freed from 'wizard' hat

A three-year-old boy who put a traffic cone on his head so he could look like Harry Potter had to be cut free by firemen.

Charlie Thomas was playing with his sisters while on a family day out and came across the cone.

He thought the traffic cone looked like Harry Potter's wizard hat and plonked it on his head.

When he showed parents Louisa and Martin they realised the cone was jammed tight, reports The Sun.

Louisa, 34, and car sprayer Martin, 36, of Cullompton, Devon tried to ease him free with soap but the cone wouldn't move.

She called the fire brigade who took half an hour to remove the cone with cutting tools and pliers.

Louisa said: "Charlie loves Harry and when he put the cone on he was so pleased with himself. But when we couldn't get it off, it was a bit scary.

"We shouldn't have laughed but he looked so comical, even though he was upset.

"The firemen got him out by pouring water down the cone and cutting the rim. He looks sorry for himself in the photo and won't thank me when he sees it in future."

--------------------

First he gets into a jam because of Harry Potter, then his parents laugh at him.

Like what's next?

J.K.Rowling saying that Dumbledore isn't the guy we think he is?

Oh,

He is a very handsome kid.

1. The T-shirt isn't necessary-any kid with a cone on his melon would get my attention.

2. How many firefighters does it take to get a cone off a kid's head?

3. Who is the laughing lady in that pic?

4. "Leave him alone honey, it's a phase he'll grow out of!"

5. Dude, A real wizard could get that thing off of his head with a spell, not the Fire Department.....

That is too funny...poor kid though!! I bet he was scared. I bet that lady in the background was his mom laughing! I am sure I would have been a bit more serious....and you guys are right...why are there so many firefighters helping out? Slow day at the station???

Giggling! Thank you RICHARD for the morning chuckle!

I wiould have taken a pic too! Can never have enough blackmail photos of your kids! (yes I am the Mom that shows the naked baby butt ones to prospective g/f or b/f if I don't approve of the young people in question! :p )

When Adrian ties the sheets to his hands and ankles and fleww off the shed roof he blamed Batman! I blamed his sister for not watching him ;)

Gotta love kids........glad the Mom got a keeper pic though!

Gosh, you all must have wimpy cones out in California!!! Ours in Kansas are heavy. The kid wouldn't be able to lift one onto his head. If he did, it would probably break his neck!

This is approximately what my mom would have told me.

"You got it on your head......Get it off."

Then the animal instinct kicks in.....You have seen it...the scratching and clawing when you put a cone on a pet's neck. :D

Dr. G.

You gotta be careful with those bearskin/bare arse photos these days!

The cone head photo is priceless........

It's right in between, "Hey, I am Harry Potter!" and "MOM MOM MOM!"

Amazing how a three year old can detect the Humilation Factor in life..
