This is Fender (the grey one), named after the guitar and not the car part, though I used to call her Fender Bender...she was never hit by a car though! She was my 2nd cat that I had after leaving home. She used to move around the living room without ever touching the floor, she'd jump from couch to chair and so on. She'll turn 22 if she makes it to April 1st. She lives with a very good friend and vet...I had to make that choice when we had to find a new place to live. The love between Fender and the friend even rivaled mine and Fenders...I miss having her with me terribly but I get to see them (more than one are living with this friend) about 3 times a month. I thought it best at the time since she was getting on in years...an in home vet has seen her through several years.

This is Sheba, she's 15 and living with the friend also. She was David's cat and she had a super nasal whiny meow...we called her "Shebi--- because of it, but she is great. She is a super lush.

Punkin Seed (right) and Peanut Butter (left). Punkin is Fenders half sister and 5 months younger than Fender. When she was 3 months old, I was fostering a dog that grabbed her by the neck and shook her, her head hit the door frame and she was never the same again. Punkin never did anything to anger anybody and she was my lap cat...I also held on to her when my world was crashing. She is highly allergic to herself and constantly sneezes, lol.
Peanut, 14 years old, was a foundling when I was pregnant with Pickle 14 years ago. She got her name because of the smear down her nose. She is a dainty lady with tiny little feet and had the habit of walking on my pregnant belly. When Pickle was a baby, she slept in the crib with her and wouldn't take "NO!" for an answer, lol. They both live with the friend as well.

Since they all knew my friend very well, I thought that they'd have a better chance of moving there then they would moving with us. I'm glad I made that choice because they're all doing so well. I have a very good friend...

Left to right...Spice, Peanut, Ashtray and Tazzy
Spice was one of Punkins babies and we eventually found her a home with a nice young couple. Read about Peanut above. Ashtray was a rescue...hubby cold cocked a guy when he saw him take a grey kitty and swing him over his head by his tail. He finished the lawn route in a box and then came home. He was killed when he got out one night. I was 7 months pregnant and so broken hearted...he's the one Toby is so much alike.
Tazzy was my first and last totally unhealthy cat, she was also one of Punkins babies from the same litter as Spice. She lived for 3½ years the size of a 3 month old kitten. She suffered from unexplained seizures and they stunted her growth...as a result, she was on Steroids all her life and canned Kitten Chow seemed to help prevent extreme seizures. Every vet I took her to said they'd love for the chance to run tests on her but nobody ever said "to see if they could figure her problem out", it was always to their own benefit so I didn't allow it. I cry every time I think about her...like now. She was my baby...I took her everywhere, even to work and on dates with me, for her entire life.

Punkin(lower left), Tazzy(middle left), Curio(the Snowshoe), Barry (in the background), Peanut(middle) and Spice(lower right)
If you've been reading, you know about Punkin, Tazzy, Peanut and Spice. Curio and Barry were left in an apartment and the manager, having alot of patience with us, brought them to me. Curio fit right in but Barry never did accept either of us, but he loved Bogart (the Shar-pei above). We'd often see them sleeping together but he always ran and hid under the bed when we walked in, it broke my heart. We eventually rehomed them both to the same home...where Barry instantly lit up and accepted them, but Curio took to peeing on the guys head during the night while he was asleep. *sigh

Sorry this is so long...I was feeling melancholy tonight and came across these pictures. They were before I had a digital camera so excuse the various sizes and flash blobs, I had to take pictures of pictures.
If you read this far, thank you for letting me get it all out.

Thanks for sharing your previous cats with us.:) I'm glad that you still have pictures of them and fond memories of them too. It's also great that some of them are living with your friends so you can get updates about them and also visit them.:) Fender sure looks a lot like my Storm.:)
