Whats with this weather?!?!?

Its unseasonably warm here -- gonna be almost 90 degrees today! and HIGH humidity. You should see the fog this morning!!! :eek:

Aren't we supposed to be experiencing crisp refreshing days and cool nights? We are still running the AC to keep the humidity and temp down. I won't even go into what all this is doing to my sinuses :rolleyes:

Is everyone else experiencing unseasonal weather?

We have the same here in RI. So far, I've held off putting the a/c on -- IN OCTOBER??? But 2 days ago I was sorry I didn't cool the house off as by bedtime it was yucky in here. So you showed more sense!

I'm NOT complaining! I prefer this to . . . the white stuff.

And it is easier to get 4 dogs out to do their business, go for thier walks, in this this. (No I don't walk them far in the humidity and we tend to go earlier in the AM when that is high.)

Plus this is the weekend of loads of Fall fairs and festivals, so I am going to hit as many as I can!

Oh I know, I'm so sick of hot weather! We are in a severe drought but we got about a half an inch of rain yesterday morning and it was just enough to make it nice and sticky with the heat. I hate that!

I am Loving the warm weather!! I cannot believe that in October in NY I am wearing shorts!!:D I am praying it holds on for a bit longer, cause usually around Halloween it is Snowing!:eek:

Funny you should mention the weather Kim, it has been quite cold here the last couple of days... snow was predicted down to 900 meters last weekend (did not happen though). I thought we were suppose to be getting nice warm Spring weather here :(.

Here in "sunny" California, it rained yesterday and we have the heater running right now. It's not bad weather, I don't mind it. :)

ETA: Just checked the temp outside. It is 9:30am and the temp is 50F (10C). The sun is shining though, so it will warm up a bit. I think it is perfect weather, as long as it stays dry.

Extreme drought conditions here in Kentucky. We are declared natural disaster so the farmers can get emergency loans. Cattle is being sold off way sooner because the hay prices etc are sky high right now and farmers cant afford to feed them something that should be feed in the winter months.
We are in the 90's this week.

We've had rain, sleet and snow every day for at least the last month. Frost on the windshield for the last six weeks. We never had a summer this year at all. They are usually short up here, but this year it just didn't happen at all. Good for the forest fires, but not much else.

Tomorrow, expect highs in the 90's with humidity upwards of 60%. Yay. So much for autumn.

Very warm here. I had a soccer game today and I thought I was going to die because it was a tough game and I was constantly running. Though it says next Tuesday it will be 65 degrees.

It is 86 degrees here as we speak. I kept asking my family the other day, "it is October, right?" But yet in Albuquerque, where I'm from, they're "freezing!" Go figure. :rolleyes:

Had to turn the air back on a few days ago! We have been colse to or breaking record highs for the past few days. I think it is about 90 now, at 4:30 pm. Supposed to be just as warm tomorrow!

And yet, some of the tops of the trees are starrting to turn their gorgeous yellow/orangeish colors! :rolleyes:

Me too! I want a break from the electric bill! I hope we won't go from hot and sticky directly to cold without any nice fall weather in between. :rolleyes: It's 79 degrees now at almost 7:00PM in October. Weird!

We finally caved and turned on the AC for a bit here too. It's been in the 80's the past week or two and hit about 90 F today. They've predicted a cool down come Tuesday though. Looking forward to a real Fall day. :D

We had a cool front come in Friday night which made for an amazing weekend. Highs in the 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Sadly by tomorrow we will be back in the 90s :(

I hear ya Pam! I just told hubby this evening we'll probably go from summer to winter. This is the time of year when you should have no A/C or furnace running, thus lower electric/gas bills. My A/C's been going full blast. :rolleyes:

Fall's been fairly typical here, maybe a tad bit warm. High's of low to high 70's this week.

We went camping this weekend, though, and Saturday night was ok but last night was a killer. It was below freezing and I have never spent a colder night! (Even the corgis were cold, which doesn't happen too often!).

Our mornings are so pleasant and I open the sliding doors to let the cool air in, but the last week or so, we have had to run the air conditioning, too. We have record heat and humidity during the day. Today's high is supposed to be 87 and tomorrow it will be 90!!!! :eek: That is HOT for SC this time of the year. I hope we do get to experience a real fall, where we can open the windows before it gets too cold. We did have one good rain, last week, for a day, but like many of the others in the southeast, we are in extreme drought as well.

It's been nice here. It's usally in the 50's-60's in the early mornings so I can open up and cool things down a bit. It's been in the mid 70's to around 80 or so lately during the day and then it cools down at night so this is perfect weather for me.:) My ideal weather would be 70-75 all year long. I hate it when it's too cold or too hot.:)

Yep its been very fall like in california, today is suppose to get up to 82, the hottest it has been in a while, suppose to cool down again tomorrow.

everytime I wash my new car it rains, that is annoying!
