Things just have a way of working out!! I am sure most of you saw the thread, about the Rotti Tasha, well after not being able to adopt her, due to her cat aggression, i put another dog out of my mind. Well till today! I was talking with a friend of mine, and she was telling me about a guy she knows, who needed to find a new home for his dog. So I went and talked to the guy, and out comes this Rottweiler!! I was in love the instant I saw him!! His owner has to move to PA, as he just got engaged, and cannot take Brutus with him, as they have BSL in that area, no Rottis allowed. So after meeting Brutus, and ontroducing him to my son,w e decided he would come home with us! So here he is BRUTUS!!

Brutus, needs to add some weight, and he needs some meds, as he seems to have an allergy, he is very itchy, and his fur is thin in some areas. But he has a great disposition, and is just a very easy going guy. He likes the cats, and dosent realy pay them too much attention. Him and Duke get along great, and have been playing non stop all afternoon!

Very cute! That skin does look itchy, I hope you can adjust his diet and sort the problem out.

How old is he?

Oops forgot to add that!! he is a Neutered male, 4yrs old.:)

Yeah, his owner had him on Pedigree, so hopefully after some meds,a nd a diet change he will be good to go!:)

I think you could say Duke likes him!! he he he he!! They havent stopped playing since Brutus got here!!:D

:) Congrats! What a hansome boy he is! I'm so glad it all worked out. I bet with a better quality dog food, he will be feeling much better!

Brutus is STUNNING! What a handsome man! My dad had a GSD when he was a kid, named Brutus, just thought I would share! Your new Brutus sounds like a great doggy! Have fun with him!

Thanks Guys!! Brutus made it through his first night with us pretty good. I was told he was housetrained, but I am thinking not. He had a few accidents. But that is okay, we can work on that! I cannot get over how sweet he is. But we do feel he was hit before, as he is very head shy, and timid around strange men. Took him quite some time to get used to hubby last night! We also had a friend stop by, and was timid of him as well.

He has tried to Mark in the house a few times, and I have corrected him, and immediately put him outside to potty. So far today he has been realy good, and no accidents yet. :)

Now we all know why the first rottie fell through, this one was the one meant to come home with you. He looks so sweet. Congradulations!!

Well Brutus got his first Bath! Lets just say someone was a tad stinky!:D He did pretty good, not huge fan, but what dog is?? Duke got bath too, since I was already wet!:rolleyes: He he he he!! Brutus smells good now! Now all we have to do, is get him Housebroken!

What's a BSL?? I live in PA, and I want sooooo badly to have a Rottie, and many of my friends have them, so not sure what this BSL is that wouldn't allow them??? Is it something for a certain area??

BSL-Breed Specific Legislation
Some areas do not allow, what they have deemed Dangerous breeds ie Pitt rottis ect...
