Sunsets and clouds are some of my favorite things. When they're combined, they're quite beautiful. I was driving home the other night and saw this sky. I actually passed by it and drove for about five or so more minutes. The reason I didn't stop right away is because the batteries were dead. So, I turned around, stopped at the store to get more batteries (even though I had plenty at home) and parked. I had to walk on an overpass to get these. I really hate it when the powerlines and telephone poles are in the scene so I try my best not to get them. If there are too many, I don't even take the picture. To me, they ruin it.

These were taken at a different location. When I see things this beautiful, I have to capture it.

Wow! Thanks for all the compliments. I'm attaching one I took yesterday morning. I wish I had stopped at my normal spot. I could have gotten some before this that were even prettier because the streaks of light were farther between each other. I was going to that today and it was way too cloudy. I'm hoping for another opportunity soon because it was so beautiful. I'd never seen the sky like that before. At first, there were just about four streaks from left to right. Was just beautiful.

Another beautiful shot Val :). I am staying at a friends on the weekend and she lives near the beach, i am hoping to go down to the beach to watch the sunrise Saturday morning or sunset Friday night :D... i will definitely have my camera with me.
