Early this year I sent out sunflowers seeds to at least 12 locations, mostly in the USA. As NO pics have been shown here, I am wondering what happened  Did my seeds "produce" a plant and flowers? Or did nothing happen? Or, did you forget to plant them ( ;) )
I'd love to know!So if you have pics, please post them here :)
We only have 4 plants this year, because all the rest was eaten by a herd of snails....(they also ate all dahlia's :( )
These pics are from last year

Well, we had an awful summer. A long, cold, rainy spring didn't help. We got one gorgeous Belgian sunflower before it started raining and snowing. I'm attaching a photo taken Thursday (between rain showers). http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a373/kuhio98/September022.jpg

They look great! I would have taken some seeds but my little gardening buddies would have wrecked the poor things

Mine should bloom soon and I'll have pictures then. Seems like the season started late this year (and of course I didn't plant them until late, the procrastinator that I am).

M&I's mommy -if you are gonna have more seeds to be sent out I would gladly take some, my 12-year-old son loves planting things. He even have a garden last year with vegetables that he grew all on his own.
All the flowers are beautiful!! :D

I still have your seeds tuck away in a very safe place! We're working on the planters in the yard right now, and I wanted to wait until everything is finished before I plan these beautiful plants.
I cannot wait, though. I LOVE sunflowersss!!!!!

Hey Lut,
Do you think they will be ok in a pot? I am able to plant them after Cadience is born inside if you think they will be ok.

Mine are in a pot. I used a pot because it was easier to tend to after the knee surgery. They seem to be a little smaller but beautiful. I just planted some more in a pot. These are the first sunflowers I've had any luck with. I just couldn't seem to grow them before now. Good luck with the pot if you use it! :)

Awwwww thank you SO much for these new pics!! That giant flower is absolutely gorgeous!!
Many ask if they can grow sunflowers in a pot. We've never done that before, but why not??! Be sure to water the plant regularly, don't ever forget this :)
