LOL; two nights ago, I thought I'd make some portraits of myself together with my beloved kitty girls, but they were not very cooperative! LOL Judging from the look on their faces, it's obvious that they didn't like the idea at all.

Lily doesn't seem to feel very comfortable:

And Luna looks even more annoyed:

Okay, holding a cat in one hand, and a camera in the other one isn't the best solution for a photo session like this! LOL Maybe I should ask somebody else to make of photos of me and my girls.

Anyone else here who ever tried to make a picture of yourself with your kitty?

I think the pictures are great! :D I do have to agree that your girls do not look happy at all.

I've tried to photograph Squeak and myself, but it hasn't worked out for me. Squeak is not one to be held and she gets frustrated very easily!

I LOVE the cut and color of your hair!

LOL! Lily reminds me of a little kid stuffed into a snowsuit with lots of sweaters and mittens and scarves...their little arms are out stiff and straight, and they can hardly move!

YOU look happy - I think the girls wanted to make YOU look good after all the great pics you have taken of them! :D

I've never tried - Mitzi HATES being picked up. As for juggling a camera and cat(s), how about using a Tripod? I know my camera has a timer feature, but I've never used it ... must read the manual! :D

Cute pics!

I think they're great and very typical of the cats I know! Have they forgiven you yet? :D

Dixie won't let me hold her at all unless I've got both arms securely wrapped around her and not looking her in the eyes, Churchy is too noodle-y and goes completely limp and you'd get a shot of Toby's butt because he stands on my boob and lays way over my shoulder, ending with a tail across my eyes or forehead and two back feet dangling straight down my front, lol.

Luna, Luna looks like she is tapping her paw, sighing and saying "OK MOM! I am NOT happy about this!!!"

Tell her she still looks beautiful, even annoyed!

They both are beauties and ...ah...hem... so are you!

LOL! They might not be very happy but the pictures are very funny :D
I can almost hear Lily and Luna saying "Help! Help! We've been kidnapped! Let us go away!"
You're lucky you can hold them with one hand. I could not do it with Peppito, he would scream and bite

You're lucky you ecaped without injury! My cats are wonderful when picked up...UNTIL you bring the camera out then its claw time! I think most cats are just camera shy ;)

Great photos! Tell Luna and Lilly that we are glad they cooperated that much ;)

Gary, but your kitties are looking much happier than mine! :)

Well, actually I got injured! :o I suddenly had to sneeze while I held Luna, and of course she got startled and panicked. My elbow was bleeding a lot, and it was painful. LOL

how about using a Tripod?

Great idea, it's worth a try! :)

YOU look happy

Well, yes; being around my girls always make me happy! :)

Those are great. You can just see them thinking, "I'm gonna kill her when she lets me go".

I think they turned out great.:) I first thought that you had set a timer on your camera. I tried to just take pictures of myself and they didn't turn out well at all.

Ok, perhaps the girls weren't amuzed but I sure was looking at the photos of them :D

I don't want to think of what the ones of me and Abby would look like if I did the same type of photoshoot

BTW, Pouncer says hi to his favorite sweetheart :)
